Tessa's POV

AJ was acting strange all dinner. And the car ride was super forced and awkward. I thought I was really catching feelings for him, but now I don't know.

I don't know, maybe it was just one bad night. Whatever it is I'm sure it'll pass... I hope. I don't know if I could deal with another breakup to be honest.

This whole year has been terrible relationship wise and I finally thought AJ was serious, but a few weeks in and he's already having second thoughts. All I wanted to do was go home and cry honestly.

After what felt like HOURS, we finally arrived at the Team 10 house. I walked in and everyone was by the front door with anxious looks on their faces.

"What's going on guys?"

"Uh nothing. How was your date?" Jake asked.

"Um pretty good," I said faking a smile.

They all exchanged looks and I was really confused but just went along with it.

"Well I'm gonna go upstairs and change..?" I said looking between all of them.

"Yeah um yeah.. you go do that." They all said.

"Okkaayy?"

Jake's POV

"Dude, I feel so bad," I said.

I honestly couldn't deal with lying to Tessa about the whole thing. She has no clue we were there and she was obviously heartbroken, but being Tessa she wouldn't let any of us see it.

"I know, dude, I think someone should go talk to her," Anthony said.

"Not it!" Me, Nick, Emilio, Ivan, and Anthony said.

"Guess that leaves you, Chance. Good luck," i said, pushing him up the stairs.

Chance's POV

I walked up the stairs, planning what I should ask her. I shouldn't be the one doing this... Where's Erika when you need her?

I finally stopped in front of her door and knocked.

"One second!" I heard her yell.

"Oh hey Chance," she said opening the door, "What's up?"

"Look ,Tessa, I need to talk to you.."

"Um sure. Come in. So what do you need to talk about?"

"I was just making sure everything went okay tonight?"

"Oh um yeah I needed to talk to you guys about that."

"Oh?"

"Uh yeah.. um could you guys just not talk to AJ about us or like anything?"

"Why?"

"We just decided to keep it private for a while."

"Private?" Jake and everyone else busted through the door.

"Why were you guys behind the door?"

"Uh no reason and Private? Why?" Anthony chimed in.

"Yeah. We just think that it's best for now and I really want this to last so please guys- don't say anything... for me?" Tessa pleaded.

"Yeah"
"Whatever"
"I guess"
Everyone reluctantly agreed.

"Thank you- now if you don't mind I'd like to get some sleep."

"Goodnight."

"Night!"
