Tessa's POV
"Morning guys!"
"Hey Tessa"
"What are you guys doing today?"
"We aren't sure yet," Jake said.
"Okay, okay I've got it," Anthony said.
"What is it?" Jake asked.
"We should do the 24 hour challenge at the graveyard!"
"Duddeee," Chance said.
"I'm in," Jake said.
"We are savage," the martinez twins said.
"Alright, let's do this! Tessa you in?"
"I guess I'm down, but like I'm really scared, yo."
"You'll be fine," Chance said, trying to reassure me by putting his arm around me.
I looked between all of the guys' hopeful faces and caved.
"Ugh, I guess," I decided, but believe me I was NOT excited about it.
"Yes! Okay guys we leave at 7 sharp go get ready and pack some flashlights and blankets. It's gonna be cold- dress warm," Jake said.
•••
I went upstairs to pack and pulled out my backpack. I put on black leggings and a black hoodie. I grabbed a few flashlights, my portable charger, and a few blankets to stay warm.
When I headed down, I saw all the guys dressed in black ready to go. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous... there were butterflies in my stomach, but I tried not to let that show and just have a good time.
"You ready?" Anthony asked me.
"Uh- yeah."
"Dude this is gonna be sick," Chance said.
On the way there, we stopped to get some McDonald's because we wanted some food to last us the night... even though we ate it in the car.
Finally, we arrived at the graveyard. Everyone headed out of the car and I went to open the door, but Chance beat me to it.
It was now around 9 so it was pretty dark outside.
Jake led the way and started to climb the fence. Then Anthony, followed by the Martinez twins. Chance stayed on the bottom to try to help to boost me up while Jake stood at the top pulling me up.
When we had all made it on the ground, we turned on our flashlights to try and find a place to camp out.
The place looked super sketchy and I honestly just couldn't wait to get out. I saw a shadow standing by the tree.
"Yo what is that?" I said, moving myself so I was right next to Chance as he placed his arm around me.
"I'm sure it's nothing," he said, but he couldn't take his eyes off the spot and wouldn't take his arm off me so I knew something was wrong.
Jake was vlogging the whole thing and wasn't paying much attention.
"We need to make sure we all stay together," Jake said and we all nodded.
We found the only empty place where a grave was to be put. We all layed out our blankets and sleeping bags and when I went to get mine I realized I forgot it.
"Guys I forgot my sleeping bag.."
"Oh, Tessa," all the guys groaned jokingly.
"It's cool, you can just share with me," Chance said.
"Oh, are you sure."
"Yeah, I won't mind the company," he said with a wink.
"Oh my gosh, Chessa is real guys! Chessa is real!" Jake whisper shouts into the vlog camera.
I giggled along with the rest of the guys.
Anthony pulled out uno and we all looked at him funny.
"What? Do you guys wanna play?"
"Yo, I'm down."
"Me too," chance said and everyone else agreed.
We started playing when I got a shiver down my spine. It was now around 11 and it was getting really cold outside.
"Are you cold?" Chance asks me.
"No, I'm fine."
"Here take some of my blanket," he says and he hands me a piece of it.
"Uh, thanks," I said scooting closer to him to get some of his blanket.
I then saw the black figure in the distance again and my heart started speeding up.
"G-guys, do you see that?" I said pointung the figure.
They all turned their heads around to get a better look.
