People see a dolphin in the ocean, and they immediately get out phones and cameras to capture the moment they laid eyes on the mammal. The person also sees a fish, but doesn't take a picture of it. Why do they take a picture of the dolphin and not the fish? You can go to an aquarium and see a dolphin anytime, but this certain mudfish is NOT featured in an aquarium. That poor fish was the only mudfish around, but an entire pod of dolphins is better?
Also, people would rather be in a tank of dolphins than sharks. Why is this? More people are bitten per year by dolphins than sharks. Heck, more people die from vending machines and toilets than sharks. Plus, some sharks are going extinct! That stuck-up dolphin will be there tomorrow!
Worst of all, some people think dolphins are SMART. Online, more top ten "smartest animal" videos feature dolphins ranked higher than dogs. Dogs learn to follow their master, and can have names they RESPOND TO. Dolphins only have names for each other and if they get mad about food or some petty thing (cause dolphins be petty) they will turn on their master, and could slap them with its tail!!!
So, yes, dolphins are WAY overrated.
Josias said he didn't see a "porpoise" in my rant.
Personally, I wanted him dead at that moment
Plus, I managed to write a whole paper on dolphins in that ten minutes, look
