I grabbed some shorts and a shirt that were laying in the floor and flung them on then walked out my house into the woods. I really need to think.

Dakota bent down and fiercely whispered in my ear, “I don’t belong to anyone. I suggest you fight hard because you are not the type of man I want! If you want me you better change!” and with that she left the room after flinging some clothes on.
What does she mean I need to change? Aren’t mates supposed to take you as you are? GODDESS WHY DO I HAVE SUCH A DIFFICULT MATE!?!?!
