Chapter 4: We have finally arrived...

As the trip went, it felt like forever that we were trapped in that car! As the sun started to rise, just over the hill, everyone was staring at the wonderful scene before us. Dad decided that it was time to get out for another break. As we were all getting out of the car, mum ordered us to stand next to the sunrise, for a quick photo. Of course everyone was tired, but still managed a fake smile that was pretty convincing.  By now we were almost there, we had 3 hours to go and Jade was becoming very impatient and frustrated.  Everyone loaded back into the car, and once again we headed along the road. I decided I was going to stay awake for these last few hours and enjoy the view from the car window. As it sat there glaring out the window, I kept replaying the memories of everyone back in America and smiling. Finally! We had arrived at our new house. It was quite modern, had a lot of kids in the street and seemed like a nice place! Honestly, I was very excited to finally be here. As soon as dad stopped the car, everyone bolted out of the car, and headed for the removal’s truck to collect their belongings. This was the routine for every new house.  Everyone would run as fast as they could, in hope of getting the best bedroom. We all started to run towards to house. As soon as we entered the front door, we all stopped and stared. It was massive, enough room for everyone. Us kids headed upstairs towards the bedrooms, while mum and dad waited down stairs, starting to unpack in the kitchen. An hour later, we all found our own bedrooms and also started unpacking. This was the biggest bedroom I’ve ever had so there was a lot of space. It was night time now, so we decided dad would go and get some take away for dinner, seeing as though we were to busy unpacking all afternoon. When dad came home, we were all called downstairs for dinner. We all ate dinner together in the new house, and of course mum took a photo because she thought 'it was a very special moment in our lives.' Once everyone had finished dinner, mum and dad went around to everyone’s room to help set up bed frames and help unpack.  By now, it was 10:00pm and everyone was now settled in their own bed, exhausted and probably fast asleep.  Just as I was about to go to sleep, I heard a beep coming from my phone. It was a text from Ally;

-Text messages- 

Ally: Hey babee x

Me: Heyy girl x

Ally: How is everything? Did you get my gift?

Me: ah yes i did, thankyou so much! <3 Everything is fine! Its a really big house and seems like a friendly neighbourhood :')

Ally: Well thats good, no worries, just thought you needed something to remember me by ;') lol. Wow thats so good! Miss you heaps xx

Me: Ive gotta go to bed now, good night! Miss you, talk soon, k? xox

Ally: Definatelyy! Good night xox

And I went to sleep..
