Chapter 7: Getting ready..

The next day, mum said before I go to school she wanted to do some things with me today. So we went out to the shops and brought some earrings, headpieces and stuff like that for school. After that, mum took me to get me hair done at the hairdressers. I liked the length of my hair, so I just got layers and dyed it ombré.  We then went to a beauty salon and I got a facemask and everything and then we went home. When I got home, I tried on the uniform to make sure everything fit, and it did, and then I helped mum unpack some more stuff in the kitchen. That night, we all sat down, had dinner and went to bed. The next morning, mum, Jade and I went to get our nails done at a nail salon. We all got a French manicure to it was suitable for school, and then after the whole family spent the rest of the day at the beach. For dinner we had fish and chips at the beach, and of course mum took some photos. Then we went home and went to bed. The next morning, I talked to Ally on Skype and discovered that she had got a boyfriend! I was so happy to see she was happy and that everything was going okay! We ended up talking about Jai and how school was and everything. She wished me luck for my first day of school and we said goodbye. I didn’t have anything planned, so today I just decided to make sure everything was unpacked in my room. I spent all day making a massive photo collage that covers my wall. I decided to also paint my room before putting up the photos, just to make it look nice. I painted it plain white, but decided it was way too boring for me, so my whole family came and helped me do rainbow splatter on my walls. That night, I mainly spent time with my little sister.  I painted her nails and we talked for hours, and it was so nice finally spending time alone with her. She helped me label all my stuff for school and even offered to drop me at school the next morning. I gave her advice about school, and as she was going into high school she was really nervous!
