Chapter 11: He was perfect...

The next couple of days with Jai were amazing! I told my mum and she suggested that I bring him over for dinner one night. My family would absolutely embarrass me! I couldn’t bring him over! We talked every night on Skype and we visited each other’s houses. It was a perfect relationship. Long walks along the beach just before sunset hand in hand, going out for ice cream after school. We were a really happy couple and I am so glad I met him that day, the most beautiful thing he did was write a song for me which he is going to perform for his assessment. Everything was perfect, from the little pecks on the cheek, to the surprise hugs from behind, to the cute little pictures we take. He was the best boyfriend I ever had; he treated me right, was hilarious and had a heart of gold. One day we decided we would go out for a proper date, for dinner at a restraunt beside the beach. The day before, I decided I would take my sister shopping with me to find a nice dress to wear. Mum dropped us off outside the shops and my sister and I walked around for hours and hours trying to find the perfect dress. My sister brought a cute dress, but I was still searching. When finally, something caught my eye. It was a pale pink dress with black collar with little sequences on the collar. I tried it on straight away, and knew it was the perfect one for our date. I brought it, mum came and picked us up and we went home. The next morning was Jades interview for school. She wasn’t nervous, more excited then anything! I curled her hair, like I promised, put on a tiny bit of makeup and she was ready to go. Like me, mum and Jade went by themselves to the interview, but took me to school with her. When I got to go school, Jai was in the music room rehearsing his assessment. I didn’t want to go in and distract him, so I sat outside the door, so I could hear the song. By the end of the song, I was in tears! It was beautiful, and that’s when I finally realized how much I am going to miss him when he leaves for x factor. Before I could leave, Jai heard me outside and came to the door. He sat down beside me and hugged me and wiped away my tears. “What’s wrong baby?” he asked in a worried voice. “Im just going to miss you so much when you leave, and that song you wrote for me was beautiful Jai.” I said trying to not cry anymore. “I love you babe, I always will and I wont forget you even when I am away from you.  You mean the world to me Angel.” I was crying even more now and he sat there the whole time kissing and hugging me until I finally stopped crying. “I love you too Jai.” I finally said. “I can’t wait for our date tonight! You are going to look beautiful as always!” He said whispering my ear. “Awh you’re too cute Jai, might I say you are going to look as handsome as your always do.” I added. Then he leant in and kissed me. I actually couldn’t believe how much in love I was! I thought only these boys existed in my dreams and in fairy tales. Then Jai said, “Do you and your family want to come on tour with me?” I looked at Jai stunned and smiling at the same time. “Of course I would!!” He smiled back and gave me a hug. We both walked home together, laughing and talking like we always did, when suddenly we found a coin in the middle of the pavement, tails up. “Look Angel,” Jai said pointing at the coin, “Pick it up and you will have good luck!” I bent down and flipped the coin over so it was facing heads up, “only if it’s heads.” I said smiling up at him. “Now someone else can have good luck.” I stood back up as I watched Jai bend down and pick up the coin. I smiled at him as he put it in his jacket pocket and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He took me by the hand, and we kept walking along the path. “Hey Angel?” Jai asked looking at me, “wanna come to my house tonight? I would love for you to meet my mum!”  I smiled at him, staring into his perfect eyes; I tilt my head slightly and reply, “sure!” So that night I went back to Jai’s and we watched movies and cuddled all night while eating some popcorn that his mum Alana was kind enough to make for us. By 10:00pm, we fell asleep in each other’s arms and awoke the next morning to the wonderful aroma of pancakes.
