It has officially been 1 month and 3 days since Jai and I started dating. They have been the best 1 month and 3 days of my life. We have little study dates after school sometimes and we help each other with our homework and assignments. We would ride or walk to the beach and sit on the hot sand for hours talking and laughing. I decided to do something special for Jai, I decided to take him out for dinner at his favourite restraunt by the beach. He loved surfing and going to the beach, so I thought it would be nice. When I got to school that day he was once again waiting at the front gates for me. I liked it when he waited for me because then I didn’t have to walk in alone. He really loved me and I really loved him. When we finished school, we decided to walk home from school together seeing as we only lived in the street next to each other. I piggybacked him the whole way home while he was taking photos of us together. When we arrived at my house I decided to invite him in for dinner. I had no hesitation of inviting Jai over because he was polite and extremely easy to get along with. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him through the front door with a huge smile on my face. I didn’t really know if my dad accepted me having a boyfriend because we had never really talked about it before, so I quite nervous at his reaction. I guided him to the kitchen, still not letting go of his wrist, and pulled him towards my mum. “Well hello there” she said with a bit of confusion in her voice. “Mum, you remember Jai, right?” I ask, hoping she remembers. “Of course honey, he’s your boyfriend right?” she says smiling at me and Jai. I giggle and nod. I can feel and instant sigh of relief from Jai and he begins to relax. My mum asks if we would like anything to eat or drink and we both reply, “Nah, we’ll get something later. Thanks mum.” We head upstairs into my bedroom and shut the door behind us. “Wanna sleep tonight?” I ask jai giving him a slight smile. “Sure!” He says seeming kind of nervous. I run up to him and wrap my arms around his neck, and whisper in his ear, “I love you Jai.”
