Erwin picked up the discarded jacket, hanging limply by his strong grip before bringing it up to his face to inhale it. He took a long whiff as though to track down his prey like a predator going for the kill. Levi saw the killer look in his eyes, focused on one thing, glinting dangerously and couldn't help but feel sorry for the people that had treat his property with such disregard.

Karma...

"They'll get what's coming to them. I'll make sure of it" he kept muttering to himself dementedly like he was cursing the person in some unknown language that was only clear to him. Erwin let the jacket drop to the floor before standing on it with the hard sole of his boot and crushing it into the dirt, creating a mist of dust to cover the both of them.

The sun was shining brightly creating a sticky humid day which was not helping Erwin's temper, only irritating him more as though he was burning on a short fuse. Levi stood in the back casually perched against the wall while observing Erwin pace the cobbles, assessing what he was going to do next.

"Erwin?" Levi uttered calmly causing him to cease his movement and turn to face the raven curiously.

"What?" He grumbled folding his arms across his chest impatiently

"Should we not follow the trail?" He stated calmly pointing in the opposite direction where the line of clothes lay untouched. Erwin pressed a finger against his temple gently massaging it in an attempt to relax himself.

"I was just getting to that" he grunted

Erwin rolled his eyes scraping his boots on the cobbles to rid the residue off the jacket as though he was repulsed by it before stalking off into the direction of the clothes, sighing incoherently to himself. Levi bent down to pick up the jacket before carelessly slinging it over his shoulder and following his superior.

He found him settled onto the cobbles, tightly gripping a pair of smashed glasses and rocking back and forth with a mournful look in his eyes. Levi went to take the glasses off him to find Erwin clutched them tighter.

"We need to go" Levi muttered standing up and sighing. Running a hand through his black undercut tiredly.

"Yeah" Erwin agrees tucking the glasses into his front pocket and brushing himself down. The tall blond began to start walking again, traipsing onto the cobbles distantly as though something was on his mind. Levi thought better than to question it slowly following.

Suddenly, Erwin reached a stop to now pick up a dirty discarded blouse where the buttons had quite literally been ripped off. The dark raven male raised an eyebrow.

"You don't think they completely stripped do you?"

Erwin shrugged non committedly as though he didn't want to answer before continuing to walk on, ignoring him. Picking up the pace, Levi caught up to him where Erwin halted abruptly. On the floor, there were two pairs of pants with the odm gear disconnected as well as two pairs of boots which were scattered in a non orderly fashion.

"Damn." Was all Levi muttered shaking his head like he could barely believe it had he not have seen it firsthand. Erwin pressed his hands into his pockets tilting his head upwards to the sky before letting out a loud sigh.

"I don't know what the fuck is going on. Or what kind of joke this is" he muttered dismally losing all faith in humanity.

This was certainly a very peculiar set of events, Levi couldn't help but think thoughtfully, pursing his lips together.

Erwin scratched his head before turning around to face Levi who glanced back at him.

"Lets carry on before I lose my temper. It's already wearing thin"
