Chapter 24: Getting closer

Various days later Levi was faced with an impending sense of boredom as he sluggishly entered the shop. Bombarded with monsters on wheels at every given opportunity and direction: oh yes. You guessed it. Levi had only gone and been dragged shopping to look for prams and strollers. Whatever they were called these days.

Avid mothers to be pulled their husbands along like puppets against a tightly wound string. One of the fathers looked particularly dishevelled and exchanged a look with the raven. He could've sworn he mouthed "help me". Levi nodded in pity shaking his head humorously and in acknowledgement as the man disappeared with his wife down a flight of stairs. He was feeling well inclined himself.

He dragged his feet tirelessly along the matted carpet as Petra tugged at his hand "come on" she urged breaking into a smile.

Levi smiled back partially feeling the muscles in his face become strained. All this smiling and Petra would think he was on some shit or something.

Though she appeared to not notice as their hands were intertwined stopping.

"Isn't this exciting?" She exclaimed turning her head like an owl at 360 degrees to gawk at every different colour, form shape or structure of the the mini vehicles in a matter of seconds.

"Yes" he muttered gruffly trying to plaster on a fake smile "I'm ecstatic"

Petra squeezed his hands tightly causing Levi to grimace slightly. "Ohhhh Levi this is great. I love you" she cooed planting a sloppy kiss onto his lips.

She had recently become overly affectionate often open to large public displays in shops. Not that Levi minded. It was the hormones flowing around her bloodstream he convinced himself that was making her act this way. Two months to go and every thing would be back to normal. Until then he had to stick it out.

Plus the hormones did come with advantages he thought wolfishly. He was such a dog taking advantage of her every night as she clawed at his shirt. He had never seen her so needy or dependant every night as she would crawl on top of him in the bed or even his office.

Yesterday he was sat idly flicking through paperwork when Petra emerged by the doorway displaying a maids uniform. Her newly enlarged breasts ready to burst out of the seams and oh those stockings he had tantalisingly ran his fingers up on top of his desk. He had pressed her against the hard oak squeezing the apex of her thighs as one thing led to another until both were laid panting on his floor with the paperwork scattered in an array.

Yes she was always up for it and Levi was actually tired. He couldn't keep up with her which is how his eyelids were currently twitching and sloping downwards so he appeared cross eyed. Petra on the other side was a blast of sunshine keeping him young with her energy by dragging him into department stores on a Saturday afternoon.

He simply couldn't understand the fascination coming from his now heavily pregnant girlfriend who would break into a cry of delight and cooing noises at a random given moment. She was a whirlwind spinning around the shop as she lunged through the doors leaving Levi caked in her dust.

"Hurry up" she whined waving her hands

Levi shrugged opening the revolving doors and weaved his way through the sea of people to accompany his girlfriend. They would only be a couple of hours max. That's what Erwin had urged and Levi knew there was an important meeting. Hence why Levi had well tried to hurry things along more.

He hurriedly caught up with her.

"So...what sort of thing are you after babe?"

Petra shook her head "I'm not sure but we have all day to try find out"
