"Good morning" I greeted my new co-worker and smiled.
"I'm gonna be your new colleague so I hope we will get along."

He looked at me. Smiled and replied
"Unfortunately we are shift mates. You start work when I end it so we won't be seeing each other throughout our work hours."

I pursed my lips
"Ah, sad then. Well it was nice meeting you anyways."
He tapped my shoulder for encouragement
"I'll teach you some basic stuff you'll have to do and then I'm out." He said sending me a smile.

Now I can call myself a professional. I've been working here for almost two weeks now and I'm pretty confident about my coffee making skills. Yeah, I know.. Two weeks and I'm already a pro.. I got used to the town here and I know my way around the streets too.. I guess I can start.. practicing my hunting skills.

I heard someone open the cafe door..It was a young lady. Ahh fate is a beautiful thing.

"Hello, miss."
"Hi, um, can I get an americano?"
"Sure" I smiled at her and looked at her features.. I coughed.. And looked away.. Something about her triggered me. I felt a strange urge to do something to her..

"Here you go, miss" I said while giving her a warm smile.
"By the way you have very pretty hair" I complimented her. She blushed of course.
"Um, thank you" she said not looking me in the eyes. Then I went for it.

"Maybe I could buy you dinner sometime? How does that sound? " I said still smiling

"Oh, uh, sure" she said looking at the coffee cup I gave her.

Success..

"Great then, I will meet you tonight at 9 pm. Near the gas station behind this cafe, is it okay?"

"Oh, but, why there?" I looked at her and calmly replied.
"Well because I end work at about 9 pm and I would usually leave through back door so we could meet instantly and I wouldn't make such a beautiful lady like you wait in this chilly weather."

Of course she broke our eye contact because she was blushing.. Ah.. Girls.. I smiled again. And spoke.
"Then we will meet soon." She smiled, nodded bowed a little as a goodbye and left..

I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth, my jaw tightened.. I took a deep breath and sighed..

God, I hope you'll watch this time..
