Luminous brown eyes and a quirky smile,

Those were the first things I noticed while walking down the aisle,

A unique sense of humour and the stick figures that you drew,

Those are the things I love about you.

You & Me, we were friends,

But what happened in the end?

We were supposed to be in this together,

As it turns out, it was the end of your endeavour.

You never loved me, but I loved you and I still do,

None of that matters to you, you had my heart in accrue,

You ran when I was about to say I do,

But of course, why shouldn’t you?

You left me alone and empty, like a hollow tree,

We should have both known, don’t you agree?

That you’ll leave me hanging while I wait for thee,

I feel like drowning in the Black sea.

I believed in our love, true and genuine,

Then I found out that you’d rather be with a penguin,

Pain flowed to my heart, my hatred quickly rose,

But all of that faded because you are the one I chose.
