Bitterness

I hope you fall in love with someone who loves you back,

I hope you fall in love with someone who takes care of you when you get a panic attack,

I hope this because I know I could never win you back,

But don’t you ever think that that will stop me from my plan of attack.

I hope you fall in love with someone who cared,

Someone who made you breakfast, someone who’s raven haired,

Someone who loves you for you,

Someone who takes care of you, even if you have the flu

I hope you fall in love with someone, someone who adored your quirks,

Someone who loved all of your works,

Someone who simply loved you for all that you are, someone who thought of you as a perk,

Someone who became your better half, making you less of a jerk

I hope you fall in love with someone who made you see,

Someone you would swim for across the Caspian Sea,

Someone who helped you through thick and thin, even helping you get your master’s degree in Microbiology,

Someone who made your heart skip so much that you had to see a doctor in Cardiology.

And I hope that the two of you are happy as can be,

Don’t you agree?

Don’t you worry; this isn’t the end of my little plea,

Read further on and see what I wish for thee.

I hope you fall in love with someone who fell out of love with you,

Someone who feels dead inside, someone who feels blue,

I hope you fall in love with someone who can’t stand being next to you,

And I hope your heart shatters to a quintillion; I hope you feel what I felt in lieu.

Then again, I do hope you fall in love and that person loves you back,

Only to be taken away from you seconds away from placing a wedding band,

I hope you feel the pain I felt when you were in my life, and I hope you think of me in the night,

And I hope my absence haunts you, it’s only my human right.
