"Oh my gosh, who knew milkshakes could be so good right now." I groan as I shove my last fry into my mouth.

"Reggie Mantle knew this, and now Gemini Jefferson knows this." He smiles at me.

Reggie stuck to his promise, he took me to get milkshakes and fries and we ate them while we drove around the town talking about anything. We even stopped to let me do some retail therapy. Reggie Mantle always had a way of surprising me.

"So what's next?" I ask putting the cup to the side and turning to him.

"Whatever you want."

"Hmm, let's go back, I am getting a little exhausted."

"Alright." He nods along and turns to go back to my house, where my extensive movie collection waited for us. I hopped out of the car immediately as we stop and sprint up the steps and unlock the door. Reggie's laugh follows along with him as he step into the house and walks into the living room.

"You ready for this?" I ask, throwing the cabinet door open that contained all of Leo and I's movies.

"Bring it."

--

"Who knew Reggie Mantle had such strong views on racism!" I fake gasp and hold my hand to my chest.  He laughs at my statement, throwing his head back on the sofa.

"Well, everyone just assumes I'm this dumb jock, but I can think." He replies. I snort at him and laugh.

"Well, in all fairness Reggie, you act like that."

"Ouch, it's a bit cold in here, right?" He mocks. I shake my head at him and turn back to the tv were a random movie Reggie wanted to watch played. After we got back I grabbed some food from the kitchen and Reggie set up everything in the living room.

We ended up ignoring half of the first movie when I jokeningly brought up the topic of racism, but he surprised me by going on a long tangent about how much he hates it, and that there is clearly still racism prevalent in the world.

"What time does Leo, get home?" He wonders as the movies drones on.

"In like an hour and a half." I check the clock on the wall above the tv. He nods to my information and lets it lapse back into silence.

"Thank you for this." I whisper to him once I realize that I hadn't once thought of Josie, or Melody at all today. "You kept my mind off of all the crap with Josie."

"My pleasure." He grins at me. "Besides I couldn't leave my favorite Pussycat down in the dumps, especially when we have a date tomorrow."

"Oh, yeah." I laugh.

"You forgot already?" He asks astonished. I nod sheepishly and burrow my head back into my blanket.

"You'll have make that up to me." He states offhandedly.

"We'll see how tomorrow goes first."

We stayed on the floor watching movies until Leo came home. Surprisingly Leo didn't throw a fit when we saw us by ourselves. He only asked if there was food left and then went up to his room. So Reggie stayed to finish one more movie and then decided he should head home.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Gem." He speaks turning to face me at the door. I smile up at him and nod.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Reggie." I close the door behind him and face back to the living room. A shriek breaks from my mouth as I see Leo standing there.

"I'm assuming you have a date tomorrow?" He guesses. I walk over grabbing our trash and bring it to the garbage.

"Yea-"
