I trust her to carry me all the way book 1 ( a horse story )

Chapter 9

I got up at four and took a shower then put my hair up for it to dry ,then I went to the cafeteria and took a banana and a muffin to eat ,I grabbed ravens halter and went out to get her from the paddock I brought her in and tied her to a cross tie and brushed the mud she had gotten over the night I pulled her mane at it That gotten long and thick .

At around five I had finished with raven and wanted to jump her bareback I got the lead rope and tied it and put it on raven and I vaulted on her back and we went out to a out door arena and there w bunch of jumps on the sides so I arranged then to a simple course of about 3.3 to 4.0 feet and I mounted raven she got really excited as she saw the jumps I was trotting her around to warm up her up and I was leading her around to the first jump ,over it we came to a mini Oxer then a larger cross rail , we ran four strides around a corner then we came to a triple where that last jump goes four feet high we were about to jump ,raven bent her legs under me and we we landed the first then the sedan and the third was right in front she took a stride and went clean over the jump .

I turned raven around to go over alien when I saw someone in e other arena ,that had there phone out and were filming me ,I kicked raven on and we ran back to the stables luckily it has early so there was a bit of fog so that person didn't see where I was going ,and I really hope  they didn't see that is was me .

I ran back to my dorm house ,I went to my room and Emma was pacing up and down the room she saw the look on my face and it was the same as hers
Emma" it was you ,the jumping bare back "
My face turned panicked and scared and something
Me " how have you seen it "
Emma " someone posted it on the school website ,it is totally mystery jumps bareback "
Me " could you tell it was me "
Emma" no luckily ,but I only new because you tolled me you ride bareback "
Me " I'm dead  if  Lora finds out it is me she hates me enough ,everything, I pass them they give me death stares "
Emma" them ?"
Me " Lora and her gang "
Emma " wait ,first no one nows you ride bare back and second you did go agents any rules your not allowed to jump in the inside arena and you were confident jumping so your good "
Me " you sure "
I was bitting my nails now ,she nodded and it calmed me down ,we talked and did the last bit of homework we went down to the stables and we groomed the horses ,I helped pull thunders mane as his had to much hair even for two horses ,or that is what Emma said .

We were lunging thunder when a pair of riders went past
" who do you think the mystery rider is "
" is has to be a final year student "
As they walked away there voices died down I looked at Emma who was completely chilled
" you're pretty not worried that there trying to find out who it is "
" no ,because they think it is a much older student ,your good "

I went down to the cafeteria,Emma was still with thunder ,I found ,max,jack and Jason and wen tower to them ,I sat down and they were talking about the mystery rider ,
Max" who do you think it is I mean not slot of people ride bareback "
Jack " well ether that is a really big horse or a tiny rider "
Max" there aren't a lot of horses that are that size let alone jet black "
Me " why are you so interested,I mean fi they haven't come forward it probably mean they don't want to be found "

From then they didn't say a word ,when we finessed the boys were heading to the stables to the stables so I went with them
Max" hey joe,you haven't ride out with out yet you want to come today "
Me " sure ,but I'm young my English saddle I want to show you what I had to do for my levelling "
Max" ok sure meet us at the wash stalls in twenty minutes "

I went over to raven and gave her a quite groom she looked like she was up for some jumping ,I tacked her up and put on a body protector and lead her out to the wash stalls ,Jason was the only one there so we talked and we desire that I would run the course and that run along side me ,the boys finally came and we went over to the course ,we were just at the start but we kept going
Me " we are suppose to start There but we will start in the middle because there is the lone run ,the forest ,then the waster complex and you lop back around the the long run ,I will start at the water complex ok"

They all nodded
Jason" what do you do in thus class you are talking like you are a solider giving mission points "
I Lough at this because cross country is a very dangerous sport
Me" well why do you think I wearing this "
I pointed to my body protector that all Lough from and by now we were at the middle were I met bill and I looked at them that were all read and we went of .

First was the run in the forest then a jump I cleared it and here gasps from the boys then the water was ahead first was the jump down there was a big splash and then the two jumps in the water I tried to keep raven at a steady pace we went round the pole in the water and the jump out of the water was essayer the sedan time and then we went through a small bit of the forest then the run across the meadow and the two jumps as I finished the boys were a cupel of strides behind
Max" we could only just keep up  and we weren't jumping "
Me " that was only half of the course "
There faces turned to shock
Jason" ok I never ever want to be a jumper "
Me " but it is amazing but hard work il admit "

We got back to the stables and washed the horses ,we talked about how jumping is a good spots but all the boys admit they never wanted to try it .

We dried the horses and me and Jason turn out our horse the other boys went back to there dorms I sat on the fence Jason sat next to me and said
" I now you the mystery rider"
I froze
" how did you find out "
" well forts raven was tired more than she should since you only did half the curse so you must have too keen her out this morning,and raven is one of the only jet black horses and you jumping style was the same as the mystery rider and..."
Me " was it that obvious "
Jason " and your the only rider her who I know who would have the guts to jump bear  back "
Me " you won't tell "
Jason " no "
Me " thanks "

We talked about the horses some more then I had to lea e and get Diner.
Emma " what "
Me" yeah he knows but promises not to tell "'
Emma " ok ,but..."
Me" what "
Emma " why don't you want to tell people it's you "
Me " because I don't want people to see me as a mystery rider ,and Lora hates me already and life would just get to complicated "
Emma " ok ,night "
Me " night "
Just as I said that m phone buzzed and so did Emma's we open it and it was from my English the levelling results...
