Chapter 14

Raven was doing good after everything ,and school and lessons went on it was Wednesday,I was putting on my body protector,and leading raven to the arena ,to meat with my class .

I was early like always ,so was crossing my stirrups over and noted my Raines and ,was cantering with my hands on my thighs ,then I did some turns that I learned in western,then fixed my saddle again and looked at my position ,at a bouncing trot ,then Emma ,then Lora and her two followers ,Amy and Chloe .

Miss Ross came in and we went to a racing track they had ,the polo class use it but not to day ,a bunch of jumps were set up ,in the track
"Ok everyone we are going to be doing a stamina test ,you will all start ,it is not a race and I will give you stop watches you time how much run ,you came not see the time it sends the results to my tablet "
She handed up all stop watches .

After sorting things out ,we were in a line ,she tolled us that after going round once we were to ,go of the course ,and in the forest to a course ,we were ready lined up and she counted down

Raven stead of at a fast gallop but I slowed her down to a canter so she doesn't use all her energy ,everyone left at a canter and I was left behind but ,they wouldn't get far .

The jump on the track ,went that high but lists of people slowed down ,Lora was at the front I her horse looked like it would stop any Minute.

After the track ,Emma stoped ,then when we got the the forest ,and the other girl stoped kit was me Amy and Lora.

I was behind and raven looked good she was tired but not enough to stop ,when we got to the jumps we jumped one the two and Amy stoped ,her horse was dragging its hooves over those last jumps .

Lora should have stoped when Amy did but she keeps wiping her horse on ,a water complex came on and her horse was slowing down but she kept her going .

Four jumps later I could see ,the opening of the fields raven was slowing down Lora was racing ahead ,we came up to a stream and when we ran across the stone ,I herd a clanking noice I looked down and ravens horse shoe was coming of .

I stoped her there and then ,I got of and lifted her hove ,it was practically of ,just hanging but one nail I carefully took it of ,and I walked her through the water to cool her down ,I stoped the timer ,and texted Emma ,by now she would be back at the stables
" I'm at the edge of the forest,raven throw a shoe tell miss Ross I am walking her back and get water for Loras horse he looked terrible "
And sent it I walked raven back her head hanging low she had a drink bye the river but she was tired ,but the time I got to the track only miss Ross was there with Emma and the feria ,they were talking and Emma spotted me from asrose the field and wave then miss Ross turned .

I was sitting on my trunk ,watching raven get a new shoe,Emma came running to me
" Lora got a right telling of her horse could hardly breathe she is banned from ringing him tomorrow ,and in Fridays lesson "

After raven got her shoe ,I was grooming her and giving goer lots of treats .

I'm my dorm I was going homework like always ,when me and Emma got a text from miss Ross
" all scores from fitness test

Amma low 3rd
Joe black no result
Lora light-hand no result disqualified"

The rest of the week went bye operetta well I was ridding out alien and some one filmed me again ,but I have ignored it now .
A cupel of weeks later on the week end , I was ridding out bare back ,where I went with bill on his special class ,and looking over the school when I got a text from the school website
" all first years are to report to there ridding teacher over the next two days to get there end of term ,show schedule "

That right I had forgotten about that I rode back to school ,washed raven Fede her and went to miss Ross ,her office was close so I nocked .

After getting both of my schedule from bill and miss Ross I was in my dorm looking over it

I didn't speak but held it up ,we end up talking about it and the go down to diner ,I sit with the boys like I always have and we talk about the timetable .

The next day I let raven out to the paddock but don't train her as tomorrow will be very hard.

Monday morning I wake up and get dressed and get raven out of the paddocks and brush her ,then go to school and back to the stables ,I get changed for cross country,get there at the time we are to not early ear as I didn't want to over work raven ,the the lesson ,we go the two large meadows were jumps are set up Miss explained
" for the Monday of show week we do ,a course and it will be here and this course to day I would like you to go over it ,and fixe any difficulties "

The course was straight forward I just needed to remember to keep my heals down during two point "
