"Stupid Potato Bastard!" I spat at Feli as he fawned over Germany's picture.
"Oh! Romano! He-a isn't that-a bad! Ve~ he's-a really nice!" He said with a dreamy look.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."
"Don't-a be like that!" Feli pouted.
I narrowed my eyes at him next. "Like-a what?"
"Grumpy! It's-a not nice to be-a grumpy!" He announced happily.
I watched him for a moment, clearly annoyed.
"Leave it-a alone Feli." I growled.
Yet, Feli did not leave it alone.
"~Ve! Oh Romano! It's-a good to be happy!" He said as he spun around in happiness just to prove his point.
I rolled my eyes and trudged up the stairs to where my old room used to be.
Feli followed me and opened the door for me. I sighed and nodded as I walked in, and looked around.
All of my old posters were gone, and my flag, yet, my dresser and bed remained, so I set to work putting away my clothes.
Feli was chatting along happily, telling me what we would do this week and what not.I just barely listened as I sat on my old
bed; looks smaller then I remembered too.He continued to ramble on and on as I pretended to listen to him, as my mind wandered back home with the tomato bastard. "He's probably making his stupido famous tomato sauce again..."
I thought, annoyed."Then afterwards, he'll probably be working on more papers for Spain, and smiling like the idiota he already is." I thought, with a grunt.
"....are you even listening?" Feli interrupted as he poked my arm.
I shook my head and looked around, surprised. "What?"
"You've been-a staring at the wall for seven minutes already." Feli said, pointing to the wall I was gaping out at.
I cleared my throat and narrowed my eyes. "None of your business if I was." I muttered angrily.
"~Ve, okay..? Do you miss Spain?" He asked.
"WHAT?!" I yelled.
Feli jumped, "What? I just asked if you were sick or something." He said, shaking a bit.
I blinked, "O-Oh....uh...no.. Just thinking of my country..." I muttered, clearly embarrassed and pissed at myself for evening thinking that Feli said that.
"~Ve! Goodie!" He said clapping his hands and giggled as he rushed to the door.
He waved merrily at me before he scurried through it, saying something along the lines of "~PASTAAAA""That guy can't stay scared or mad for five minutes."I thought, amused.
~
An hour or so later, I was called downstairs by an eccentric Feliciano as he covered my eyes and lead me into the kitchen area."This-a better not be a trap or I'll kick your excited ass." I warned.
He laughed and uncovered my eyes. I had blinked around before my eyes landing on a fantastic place setting of tomatoes and Italian flags. He had made my favourite pasta of all time, and he even set out a tomato the size of my fist!
".....Holy shit." I finally announced, impressed.
"~Ve! Yay! You-a like it??" He said happily.
"Of course." I said with a small smile as I sat down.
~
After a wonderful meal, we both headed to the living room where Feli insisted to play a game of cards.
He kicked my ass of course, since we WERE playing gold fish. So when I decided to play one of my own games I thought he couldn't beat me at, to which he in fact did."I despise you." I said narrowing my eyes as I was a hundred buck shorter.
"You-a love me big brother!" He said happily as he stuck the many coins into his handy piggy bank and set it back on the top shelf.
"God only knows..." I muttered with a smirk before dealing us back in.
~
That night, as I slept in my own bed, (to which Feli thought that was an invitation and decided to sleep beside me), I had an odd dream.
It started out like a regular day, but something was really odd about it.
I was watching myself cry, for a weird reason, while someone comforted me.
They kept telling me weird gibberish, which oddly sounded like I could understand because I was smiling while I was crying.I awoke with a start and looked around.
"Ugh. 3:00am? Fuck no." I muttered as I rolled back on my right side and fell fast asleep, the dream not being remembered for quite some time.
~
I pushed Feli off me the following morning as I sat up and headed to the bathroom. I had cleaned myself up, you know, brushing my teeth, washing my face, etc.
So while I finished those tasks, I put on fresh clothes and headed downstairs for food.
I rummaged through the fridge in search of tomatoes.I heard Feli skip down the stairs as he hummed a Italian song as I continued to rummage.
"Feli? Where are the tomatoes?" I asked from over my shoulder.
"Hah? Oh! I-a used them all to make the pasta!" He said happily as he continued to him the song as he read the newspaper.
".......what." I asked, frozen, with a pure angry expression on my face.
"Oh yes!" He said again as he went to the door.
"I just need to-a check my garden!" He said before heading outside.
I was so tempted to destroy his house when I sighed.
"I shouldn't live off one thing anyway..." I grumbled and poured myself some cereal instead.
As I ate the tasteless Cheerios with a sour expression, Feli came back holding all kinds of vegetables.
"~Ve! They grew!" He said as he sat them in the sink.
"I-a got some tomatoes as we-"
I had already grabbed twenty. I munched on two at a time, while Feliciano giggled a bit. I had given him an angry expression before heading to the living room to eat my tomatoes in peace.
