"So-a here we are, the end of what I-a told you. You know, when I- look back at all the things I had-a lost during those awful times, I-a realized that during those times I-a had Found something that I-a could never lose. I had-a Found love. You see, the way I-a had started this story was how stupido that tomato bastard was, and this is how I'm-a going to end it. It started with-a him, and now, it's-a ending with us. Everything now is-a Found, and I was-a never alone again." The curly haired man finished.
He opened his eyes as he finished the story, the little boy in his arms clapping happily.
"So that's-a how you and daddy met and fell in love?" The little boy asked his father.
His father smiled and nodded.
"Yes. But-a don't tell him I-a went and told you this! I won't-a hear the end of the bastards snickering." Romano muttered darkly to himself.
The little boy giggled anyways and hugged his dad.
"Thanks for the story daddy!" He said happily.
The fathers anger melted away as he hugged his son back.
"Anytime Anthony..." He murmured.
His son jumped from his fathers lap and went to go play outside as Romano continued to sit there in his-a favourite chair, admiring the flag on the wall. It was-a worn out and had aged, yellowing at the corners, but every time Romano looked at it, he couldn't help but think of his first birthday with his husband, the one he never thought he would have been in love with.
He heard the front door open and saw his lover come in wearing his tomato tie and smiled happily.
"Hey Lovi!" Spain said happily as he went over to Romano and gave him a chaste kiss before grabbing the Spanish newspaper.
"Did I-a miss anything today?" He asked.
Romano thought about it for a second, "Nothing too important. I-a just told our son a story."
"Oh seriously? Which-a one?" Spain asked.
Romano'a eyes met Spain's and he smiled a bit, and chose his words carefully.
"The-a one where I-a Found you."
