Then, probably about 20 minutes later as I was mid-sip, the door flew open again. Brian walked in, but he then stood aside and 4 other men and a woman walked in. I kept the glass near my chest, gripping it with both hands as I watched them all closely. The tallest man walked in last and shut the door behind him. Brian sat back down where had had been before and 3 of the men and the woman kept their distance at the back but the tallest was a little more fronted.

"Ana!" He gleamed and came toward me but I did the same I'd done with Brian and ended up looking terrified and slouching backwards. I felt threatened surrounded by so many... strangers?

"I wouldn't Jimmy, she apparently doesn't remember. She quote 'knows and recognises me but can't remember me' and I suppose she'll carry on this for the rest of us." Brian sighed and leant back in his chair.

"Come on Ana, stop messing. I know it's been a while but c'mon, don't be so hard! We did practically save your life..." The tall guy, whose name I'd found to be Jimmy, said. Wait, saved my life?

"Saved my life?" I looked at Jimmy and furrowed my eyebrows.

"If we hadn't have found you and called an ambulance when we did, those pills you took would've sent you asleep forever. So yeah, we did." Spoke up a guy who was at the wall. He had sunglasses on and was looking down at the floor with his hands in his pockets.

It took me a minute but I eventually realised what he'd set and put two and two together.

"You were the men in the woods?" I asked quietly.

"Sure was." Spoke up another who was leaning against the wall with snake bite piercings.

"How do you remember that? I thought you were unconscious..." Jimmy asked as he perched on a chair next to Brian.

"Well I couldn't move, I couldn't even open my eyes but I could hear and feel. The last thing I heard was someone saying my name and sirens. I remember someone checking for a pulse and someone carrying me out the woods and someone on the phone but it's all a little blurry." I explained.

"Yeah, that would've been me checking you were alive and getting you out the woods. Matt was on the phone." Brian explained, gesturing over to the guy with sunglasses who must be Matt.

"Ana?" The woman spoke up. She was shorter than everyone else with light blonde hair and a petite form. She left her position at the wall next to Matt and knelt down next to the bed on the other side to Brian and Jimmy.

I stared at her for a minute. She was the most recognisable out of the lot, even more so than Brian. It was strange but I could feel it coming back to me slowly. She then reached and took the glass from my hand which I hadn't realised had been shaking furiously. She took one of my hands and looked at sympathetically.

And that's when it hit me. I knew her! She used to be my best friend! She was one of the twins! "Val!" I exclaimed and without thinking pulled her into a hug. She started to laugh and hugged me back.

"Oh so you remember Val but not the rest of us?" The one with snake bites scoffed and I immediately felt bad again.

"Look guys just... Go wait outside or something. I'll talk to her." Val proposed as she got up and folded her arms, looking around at them.

"No! Come on this is pathetic! I won't..." Matt lunged forward angrily but Val quickly stepped forward to stop.

"Matt please! Just trust me." Val said quietly to him, holding his wrists next to his sides as she stood right in front of him, almost touching. Matt sighed before Valary went on her tiptoes slightly and kissed his cheek gently. "Please." She finished.
