In all honesty, Valary was right, the shopping trip was way more fun than even I'd expected. For the first few shops I was really weary of what I was looking at or picking up to buy but after a stern but reassuring talk with Val, I learnt that to her, money was nothing really as they had so much. We brought me my own shampoo and body was and other things like that I'd need (Val had also commented on how I smelt like Zacky). We got things for hair, a little make up but mostly just bags of clothes. All fit 'my' theme. Nothing to girly, nothing to light but not full 'gothic' look. It was quite easy actually as Valary and I had quite the same taste in clothes.

And while this was all fun, we had been talking as we were going around as well. From what Valary had told me, there were a number of things I could conclude: 1. Brian definitely has something going on with me, 2. none of the guys know about it but Matt said he'd suspected it, 3. Despite being a rock star constantly surrounded my people, Brian wasn't all that good with them, and finally 4. Michelle apparently has a thing for Brian to.

Now this didn't shock me that much but the confirmation was still good. Val told me that whenever she'd dress, she'd ask Val if she's wore it before around Brian, she'd ask whether or not she remembers if he liked a certain shade of lipstick she'd wear. Val told me she's been at it for at least a month, couldn't keep her eyes off him. But I guess Michelle might still be upset over Brian leaving her for me all that while ago so didn't particularly like me.

But even with all this going on in my head, I'd forgotten a massive part of it which Valary reminded me of on the way back to her house.

"Ana I know it sucks but the big piece of the puzzle really missing in all this is, do you like Brian?"

The question made me silent myself. I had never thought into it that much. The most I'd probably thought about Brian and I actually being together was when he first came into my hospital room and there was the whole proclaimed 'I'll go get your boyfriend' and 'your girlfriend's awake' thing.

"I... I don't know..." I muttered after a minute.

"I get it. You just need time to get to know him which, you've got plenty of. I'm sure he's going nowhere in Michelle, he lost interest in her since the last time they broke up, he's never really had a connection with her since. Hell, I've been friendlier toward Brian than she has." Valary laughed at the thought. I agreed with her and then just a few minutes later, we pulled up to her house. Brian's car was still here. We got the bags from the car and brought them into the house (which took 2 trips) before searching for the guys to find them in Matt's recording studio, sitting around, Jimmy with a beer, Matt with a note book and Brian with a guitar, that he wasn't really holding – more lazily slumped, in his lap.

"Hey guys!" Said Val as she went in and joined Matt on the sofa he was sitting on by himself while I sort of just hung in the doorway. Every few seconds, there was this brief eye contact going on between Brian and I. Usually, I would've thought nothing of it, but knowing what I knew now made it totally different.

"You wanna stay for a bit Ana?" Matt questioned, turning to look at me in the door way and beckoning me in by jerking his head.

"Well, can't leave without Brian." I smirked and joined Val on the sofa.

"You mean, I can't leave without you or Val would bite my head off." Brian laughed in response.

"I'd pay to see that." Jimmy said casually as he took a tip of his drink. "I think we'd better go anyway. I need to get ready for my date and I'm not going back there alone for Zacky complaining, and I need your opinions."

"On what?" Brian asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"You'll see, whatever let's go!" He announced and shot up out his seat. Brian and I quickly followed and said bye to Matt and Val as we went by. I rode in Brian's car again on the way back and he was still silent as ever, lucky it was only a few minutes and every time we hit a red light, Jimmy (who was the car in front of us the whole way back) would lean out if his window and scream something random at us. It was pretty hilarious. When we got back, Brian pulled the car up on the drive and the first thing he said was:

"Where the hell's Zack?"

I looked around and saw his car nowhere. Jimmy was already at the front door, unlocking it.

"Bri, you know where Zacky is?" He shouted to us.

"Nope, just about to ask you the same thing." Brian shrugged. We all entered the house and shouted for Zacky but he wasn't in the house either.

"Right anyway you guys stay down here, while I go get ready." Jimmy ordered us quickly then ran upstairs. Brian and I did so and sat on the large sofa next to each other.

"So how'd the shopping go Anastasia?" Brian asked huskily, looking toward me.

I shrugged. "Alright, Val's gonna bring to stuff over sometime tomorrow, Syn." I teased, emphasising his name. He just chuckled and rolled his eyes. Then, with a spark in my mind I had the sudden idea to tell Brian something, or rather say it, just to see how he would reaction. "Did you know that Michelle has like a major thing for you?" I wondered like it was a genuine question which it sort of was, talking like it was just something that came up in conversation between Val and me when shopping.

Brian smirked and rolled his head back to lean on the sofa. "Like I don't know," He said sarcastically and clearly.

I sat up, frankly interested to what he had to say about her. "So aren't you gonna date her or whatever if you already know?"

"Why the heck would I do that?" He sat up to and looked at me like I was crazy which confused me further.

"Well, she's extremely pretty, she's clever, she's talented, you've known her for ages and she seems nice and is small and cute..." I trailed off, most of the things on the list were true. Maybe apart from the nice part but that was just toward me.

"You date her if she's sooo great!" Brian laughed.

"No, come on, I'm being serious, why not? It would make her happy, probably Matt and Val to..." I began to list again before he interrupted me. Within this dispute, I had subconsciously moved a little closer to him in my frustration and I believe he'd done the same trying to get his point across, there was maybe half a foot between us now.

"Well I know of other girls out there who tick all those boxes and more." He grinned and raised his eyebrows, leaning in a little further. I think usually I would've been uncomfortable but I didn't seem to be right now.

"And who would that be?" I asked, mimicking him as I leaned in. We were just couple inches apart and Brian had opened his mouth to speak when Jimmy burst through the door. Brian and I quickly sat back in our original positions as I dusted off my jeans and he cleared his throat. We looked up to Jimmy to see him wearing these massive black leather boots with dark blue jeans and a long sleeve black shirt.

"Opinions?" He asked and slumped his arms by his side.

"Looks fine." Syn shrugged and frowned in approval.

"You look great Jimmy, you'll be fine." I reassured him in counter to Brian's half-heart answer.

"Where'd you meet this chick anyway? I haven't seen you go out properly in a while and when we have, you haven't spoken to any." Brian questioned.

"Well let's just say when I went to get coffee in the hospital, I found something wayyyy better." H sniggered. "Anyway I'm leaving, try find Zacky." He said and before we could even answer, he was out of the front door again.
