"Great then, guess our evening sorted." Retorted Brian and I nodded in agreement. "Right, I'll phone Johnny and Lacey, you phone Val and Matt, see if he's ended up at either of theirs. I nodded and grabbed the landline phone while Brian rushed upstairs on his mobile. Luckily, their number was on speed dial. I called and Val answered after just about a minute.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Ana. I was just wondering if you've seen Zacky. He's not come back yet and he's been gone all day. His car's not here either."

"Uh no sorry, Matt and I were just about to leave to go have dinner with his parents but I'll keep my phone in me in case he calls and let you know if he shows up."

"Alright thanks and tomorrow, we've got some talking to do."

"Oh me too but yeah I'll tell you tomorrow though."

"Okay, enjoy your dinner, see you."

"Bye Ana."

She hung up the phone and at that moment, Brian walked through the door behind me.

"Johnny hasn't seen him. He's gone out with Lacey." He informed me.

"Neither Matt or Val." I sighed.

"Well I guess we'll just have to..." Before Brian could finish his sentence, we heard a car door slam outside. Both of us shot to the window and saw Zacky getting out of his car but... he had his arm around a girl. Both Brian and I had the same reaction to just make a dive for the sofa and act natural. If it were just Zacky we'd be questioning him but with a stranger, it was best to leave it. We heard the door open and close then a girl's voice saying. "I'm gonna go freshen up," before heels clicking up the stairs. Zacky came into the living room, running his hands through his hair.

"Shit." He said bluntly when he saw us, wiping the confident grin off his face.

"Where've you been?!" Brian whisper-shouted to him, not wanting this girl to hear as we both jumped up from the sofa.

"Look I'll explain later. I met a girl. Any chance you guys have anywhere else on the earth to be?" Zacky asked pleadingly, I immediately clicked onto why he wanted us to leave.

"Other than our own house? No not really." Brian said sarcastically and crossed his arms.

"C'mon guys please..." Before Zacky could finish, there was another echo of heels clicking down the stairs before a girl entered the living room to stand next to Zacky. She had light blonde hair like Val and Michelle but was quite tall, the same height as Zacky but that was probably because of the heels. She had a full fringe and curved figure, dressed quite modestly, if I'm honest, she seemed quite nice.

"Oh gosh I'm so sorry, I can leave if you have company. It's no problem." She proposed, seemingly genuinely apologetic when she saw Brian and I. She did look actually terrified that she'd caused inconvenience.

"No course not. Guys, this is Meaghan, Meaghan, this is Brian and Anastasia." Zacky introduced us. Meaghan stuck out her hand for us to shake which I took first and Brian was still scowling at Zacky with his arms folded.

"Pleasure," She mumbled. "It's no matter though if you're busy."

"No, actually these guys were just about to... to uh... to go on their own date!" Zacky said quickly. My jaw dropped and Brian kept a straight face at Zacky. I saw Zacky mouth 'please' subtly to us and at that point, Brian sighed and gave in.

"Yeah we were just about to leave." He said and then put his arm over my shoulders. I was frozen still at first but quickly tried to look natural for Zacky's sake.

"Oh, that's okay then. Have a good night you two!" Meaghan smiled as Brian and I headed for the door.

"See you guys." Zacky grinned and waved to us as we disappeared out the front door. Brian kept his arm round me and even opened the car door, I guess to keep up the act in case Meaghan saw, until we were both in the car. He pulled away quickly and literally drove for a few second until we were out of sight of the house before pulling up again.

"Where are we meant to go now?" I wondered as I had no clue where there was to go around here.

"We could go to Matt and Val's?" Brian suggested but I shook my head.

"They've gone to Matt's parents for dinner." I informed him with a sigh.

"So they're out, Johnny and Lacey are out, Jimmy's out in his date and Zacky has a date in our house. Well that's just great." Brian complained. There was a pause of silence before he spoke up again. "Well, if you wanted, we could go to this bar. I think it was the first one you ever went to you know. We went there once for Matt's birthday and then just kept going back..."

"Yeah that actually sounds great, I mean, we've got time to kill." I shrugged. Brian then started up the car and started to drive. It would probably start to get dark within an hour. I had never really took the time to remember it but just looking out the window reminded me of how beautiful Huntington is. I was so lost with gazing at the passing scenery that I didn't even realise Brian but on the radio, making me jump. I caught him laugh at me as we continued to drive along.

Guns N' Roses were on the radio and I sort of just... relaxed I guess. It was peaceful. Everyone doing their own thing. The roads were fairly quiet. And the drive wasn't too long but wasn't too short either. I finally got to realise how lucky I was. Just the fact that they had stumbled across me in the woods that night. That they stayed with me. That they all still cared despite me barely remembering them. And now here I was being driven around with money spent on me again. I was definitely happy it wasn't any other way... for the most part.
