That was the only thought I had managed to conjure up in my still drunken thoughts. It had been an illusion, none of it was Anastasia. I felt sick. How could I have let that happen?

"You better not speak a word of this." I growled threateningly.

"Your secret's safe with me Syn." She winked. "I think Ana's waiting for you." She said as she folded her arms and readjusted her dress. I panicked and realised she was probably still out there waiting. I rushed out of the cubicle and luckily the bathroom was still empty. I checked myself in the mirror, using the bottom of my shirt to wipe the sweat of my face, I sorted out my hair which had become a mess and put my sunglasses on then tried to act natural as I walked out. Anastasia was already there, waiting for her right outside.

"Hey, what took you so long?" She joked. It made me relax again, seeing her. The tone of her voice. Her little laugh, her sparkling eyes. She was so beautiful.

"Oh uh, fan stopped to talk to me, But awkward really." I lied and laughed but seemed to fall for it. Wee then headed toward the door. I held it open and as I did took one last look behind me to see Michelle sitting as bar, waving at me.

Anastasia POV

Brian and I somehow managed to find the car again, completely out of our wits and stumbling all over the place. Eventually, we did find it and got in but I then realised we were both way too drunk to drive.

"Brian wait, you can't drive, we'll crash." I managed to say.

"You calling me a bad driver?" Her joked, leaning over to me.

"No just an idiot." I teased, sticking out my tongue and getting out the car again with Brian following soon after.

"We can just call a cab and come get the car tomorrow." Brian said as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. We stood in the pitch black darkness with the exception of a dim street light in the cold Huntington Beach night. The moon was high in the sky meaning so were the tides. I felt goose bumps form on my skin and held myself to keep warm as I hadn't brought a jacket with me.

I hear Brian talking on the phone to order us a cab and him smile at my briefly. His smile was wiped off his face as he continued to look at me though, I was confused at first but then he started to take off his jacket.

"No... Brian, keep it." I tried to object and put his jacket back on him but he ignored me and managed to drape it over my shoulders, making me instantly warmer. "Thankyou." I smiled up at him.

"Cab should be here in the next few minutes." He said and shoved his hands in his pocket. I was scared that he would get cold now but it seemed that he didn't affect him at all which I was glad about. In the darkness, I saw a few faint red scratched on his chest though (as he was wearing a V neck t shirt) which I thought was strange but just ignored it, probably just my eyes.

The cab arrived in a few minutes like Brian had said. We clambered into the backseat and the moment I sat down, I realised how tired I was. I heard the cab driver ask "where to?" and Brian tell him our address and that's all I remembered about the cab drive.

It made sense though as the next thing I remember was flickering my eyes to dim light and Brian whispering

"Hey, Anastasia, we're home." He said quietly. I sat up and realised I'd fell asleep curled up on the seat next to Brian, using his shoulder as a pillow.

"Thank you," I stuttered to the cab driver then got out back into the cold. As we made our way up to the front door, we saw Zacky's car still here but no sign of Jimmy's. We didn't want to sorry about it now though. I went in and instantly couldn't help smiling. It was warm and smelt of home and it was dark but seemed more familiar than before. I took off Brian's jacket and handed it to him before taking off my shoes and he took off his.

"Right, I'm going straight to bed." Brian said stretched his arms out.

"Yeah me too." I exhaled and ran my fingers through my hair. "Uh, thank you for tonight Brian. It wasn't planned but I had fun and I hope you did to so uh... yeah, thank you." I stuttered the whole while looking at the floor then went on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek. "Night," I said in his ear before disappearing upstairs. I didn't look back but didn't hear him follow me until I was at the top of the stairs.

"You're very welcome Anastasia." He said to me quietly as I entered my room. I got into something comfier and lay down, going to sleep probably almost instantly as I was so tired. I did have a good dream though. It was of my younger self, I was with the whole gang, Matt, Val, Michelle, Jimmy, Zacky, Johnny and Brian. We were just hanging out in that spot we used to in the woods. Nothing much really happened. We just sat and talked and joked and smiled. After I woke up though, I was questioning whether it was a dream or a memory.
