a/n: Just a heads up guys, this chapter is major R rated!!! The part was an adaptation of another scene in a story I came across because I'm shit at writing things like that, but anyway, enjoy!

The car came to a jolt stop in an empty car park and Brian shut the radio off.

"It's just around the corner from here." Brian said as he shut the car door behind me. The night air was cool and I suddenly realised I wasn't exactly dressed for a night out, yet somehow Brian still did. He had shades on which was understandable in case anyone recognised him. He was also right, the bar was literally around the corner. It seemed quite small from the outside with a luminous flashing sign that read 'hero's pub' which sounded kind of cheesy. It was quite busy inside with most of the seats taken. And frankly, it did had a sort of familiarity to it to me. Then, it hit me.

"Oh I remember I think we used to make Jimmy buy drinks because he looked the oldest." I stated but half asked, hoping I wasn't just making it up.

"Yeah, and he never even got caught." Brian laughed as we both sat down on stools in front of the bar. We got a drink each of whiskey. I wasn't sure if I'd like it as I couldn't really remember if I'd tried it before. Brian, as a joke, had told me it's perfectly fine people who don't drink that much or haven't tried it. Which I of course found to be completely unsure as I started coughing as soon as I'd swallowed it. Brian couldn't stop laughing after as I punched him in the arm a few times playfully but he continued to think of himself as hilarious. He then actually got me whiskey with coke so I wouldn't almost choke this time and it was actually delicious.

It was a little awkward at first with nothing to talk about but as Brian started to tell me stories about things that used to happen in here and I began to remember a few of them, I became even more comfortable. It's like each time I remembered something about him or a time with him, I began to see him differently. Not as a stranger that knows all about me but as an old friend which, he was I guess. From what he was telling me, it sounds like no one's really changed much over the years. Jimmy has always been childish and hyperactive, despite being the oldest, Matt and Valary have always been super close. Johnny's always been the youngest with the lowest alcohol tolerance (apparently mine used to be quite high) and always had to be practically kept on a leash when they go out. Zacky has always been smooth with girls, apparently just chatting up new ones each time they went out but rarely actually bringing any home which they always teased him for.

And Brian... Well from what he's told me. He's always been sort of the middle ground. He can be childish and stupid and crazy but when he has to, he can grow up and be more... dominant I guess. From what I could tell, he gets attached too easily and cares more about others than himself which was incredibly sweet of him. But this means that anytime any of his friends would be in trouble, he'd be the first to be getting into a fight just to stick up for them. Oh and he'd always been a massive dork. Just saying.

We must've been sat down for hours. We were both drunks out of our minds as we started playing drinking games and taking shots. As we spoke I got to know him more and more and it began to felt like I'd never left. Then, we saw that the bar was starting to become empty. It had passed midnight now, coming up to early morning hours.

"Hey, I think we should probably go." Brian said, motioning to his watch as he held it up to me. I was too disoriented to read it but just agreed.

"I'm gonna go use the loo, I'll meet you back here." I said, leaning in to his ear as it was way too loud to talk normally.

"Alright me too," He replied, shouting my ear and we both headed for the toilets.
