At that, Sumi walked right out of the diner room and right out the house. She slammed the door shut and I looked straight at Yura and she was felling scared and frustrated for some reason. She sat back down and realized that I was still here and she looked right at me, which I flinch for a bit.

Yura: I'm guessing you're really curious about what just happened.

I nodded my head in response because somehow I didn't have the courage to open my mouth to speak. I didn't know what's wrong with me.

Yura: Unfortunately, I can't say anything yet until Sumi approve of you to know about everything. If you're curious about our life, you can ask Sumi about it. Whatever I do is always wrong for her.

"I'm sure that's not true at all. From my side of thinking, I think you're just protecting her and try to be the best for her. Maybe she just don't see it yet."

She then looked down on her plate and nodded. After a few minutes of silence, I decided to speak up.

"You don't mind if I go after her right?"

She looked up from her plate and to me. She then gave me a nod and a smile.

Yura: The park. I bet she went to the park that is just about three blocks away from here.

"Thank you."

I got up from the seat and out of the house and after her. I walked straight to the park where Yura told me and she was right. As I was walking, I saw Sumi sitting on one of the swings, deep in her thoughts. I walked up to her and sat down on the swing that was next to her. She noticed my shadow and looked right at me. Once she looked at me, she turned around and walked away from me. I let out a sigh and walked after her.

"When are you going to stop ignoring me and just accept me as your friend?"

She stopped her pace and stood in front of me, with her back facing me. After a few seconds of her being still, she then continue on walking without answering me.

I continue on walking after her, while asking her questions but she ignores them and continue on walking to somewhere I don't even know. As I look up ahead of us, I soon noticed that we were in front of an old house and it was really creepy somehow. It was really old.

"Why are we here, Sumi?"

She kept quiet. I look at her and I notice, she was crying. This was my first time seeing her cry in front of me. Well, it was more like a tear streaming down her face.

"Sumi? Are you okay? Is this place somehow important to you?"

She quickly wipe her tear from her face and looked at me. She was giving me her sad expression mixed with anger.

Sumi: What do you actually want from me? I told you already that I'm better off without having friends in my life. Why don't you ever listen to me?!

"Because of your personality, Sumi. For some reason, I feel like you weren't this kind of person before. For some reason I feel like you used to have a happy life. I know that everyone has friends in this world. I just want you to open up with me."

Sumi: You will never understand my life. Even if you heard about it or you listen carefully to it, you won't understand it. Your life and my life has a really huge gape.

She was about to walk away from me but I held onto her wrist, turning her around gently, while holding onto both of her shoulders.

As she was facing me, she looked right at the old house and that's when I knew that something was up. All of a sudden, she was having problem breathing.

"Sumi? SUMI?! What's wrong?"

She was breathing really hard and I was starting to get scared.

Sumi: I - I - I can't - bre- breathe.

She then fell into my arms and I quickly dialed the ambulance and took her phone and dialed Yura.

-

Yura and I were now sitting in the office right in front of the doctor.

Yura: So how is my sister, Dr. Kim?

Dr. Kim: Well from the check ups that we've just did, it looks like she's having too much stress in her life. Due to having too much stress can lead her to having problems with breathing. But don't worry, there is nothing wrong with her. It's just stress that is causing her hard to breathe.

"So what can we do to stop this from happening in the future?"

Dr. Kim: Well that's going to be hard because it's due to stress and everyone has stress. It's clearly up to that person to either have stress or not.

-

After talking with the doctor, we were now in the room sitting beside the bed next to Sumi. As we were waiting for Sumi to wake up, I look at Yura and she looked at me.

"I think it's time for you to tell me what's wrong with her and why she's like this."

Yura: 12 years ago, our father killed our mother. Apparently, Sumi lost conscious because she tries to protect our mom from our dad but she couldn't do much because she was just a little girl back then. After when Sumi woke up from the hospital knowing that our mom died and our dad is in jail, she lost her smile. She stop being a happy and she stop smiling for some reason. 12 years later, just a few weeks back, our dad got out of jail and went after our grand parents and kill them in front of us. Our dad try to kill me but I was able to defend myself and took Sumi out of there and far away from there asap.

I listened to her explaining what happened and when I finally knew why Sumi was acting this way, I couldn't help but feel pity for her and for Yura.

"She was right. Our life really does have a gape in between. You guys went through a lot more than I did."

Yura just looked at me and my eyes were getting watery.

"I may not know how it feels like to go such a thing like that. But I'm always going to be here and support you guys."

Yura: Why? Why did you decide to be friends with Sumi. For other kids, they would have run away when they see Sumi in front of them.

"I'm not like them. I would never run away from someone that needs people like me to be by their side. I want to be friends with her because I know she has a heart somewhere behind that cold behavior. And I know that if I get close enough with her, she would not only open up to me but she will finally going to open up to the world once again."

Yura: Are you sure you can help heal my sister's scars?

"I will no matter what and the both of us can do it together. The only way for the both of you to win over your dad is that the both of you are strong as a team. I can tell you that."
