[Chapter 23]

Jungkook (POV) 

Yoongi hyung and I decided to go towards the country side to search for her. The more days I can't find her, the less hope I'm going to keep having.The both of us walked out of the car and searched for her, until we came upon this little scene. As I look closely, there was this woman saving another woman from the man but I can't really see who that really is, until I heard her voice. 

She was walking away as I ran up to her and hugged her. She was about to flip me over, but I caught her arm and turned her around. 

"Finally, after 2 weeks of trying to find you. I found you at last."

Sumi: Jungkook. 

I smiled at her but she kept her straight face. I was confused at her action, until she got out of my grip and ran away from me. I didn't know what to do, so I ran after her. 

"Sumi! Wait! Sumi!"

I kept on yelling her name for her to stop running, but she didn't. She kept on running to somewhere, but I don't even know or care at the moment. As she was about to turn to her right, she soon stopped as I finally caught up to her. Before I could held onto her wrist, she turned back to me and pushed me against the wall. 

I was about to ask her what's going on, she gave me a look to not speak. As we hide from someone, I then saw a couple of guys walked past us in black suits. As Sumi went to check it out, she then came back. 

Sumi: They're gone. You can go now.

She walked away from me but I held onto her arm as she turned around to face me. 

"I'm not going anywhere unless you come with me."

Sumi: I can't and I won't. I'm better off without you in my life, Jungkook. 

"That's not true. You need me and I need you. That's how it goes."

Sumi: For you, but not for me. 

She yanked her arm from my grip as she walks away from me. I let out a sigh and I followed her. 

"You're not safe anywhere. You're safer with me by your side."

Sumi: No, you're wrong!

I got startled when she suddenly yelled at me. She stopped walking and turned to me. 

Sumi: The more you're with me, the more you put your life in danger. Not only that, I'm also weak when I'm around you. You are my weakness Jungkook and I forbid myself to be weak or have any weaknesses! You need to stay away from me and I have to do the same. 

She turned back around and started walking. 

"If I'm your weakness, then why don't you protect me? Why run away from me and put me in danger?"

When I asked that, she stopped walking but didn't turn around to face me.

"If those guys know that I'm your weakness, they will come after me to get to you. Have you ever thought of that?"

She kept quiet as she continued walking. 

"Hyeri is out there somewhere ready to slice your throat and I can't let that happen. I love you too much to lose you."
