[Chapter 19]

Sumi (POV) 

I have been trying to find ways to bail out Yura, but it looks like she doesn't want to be bailed out. Whenever I told her that I'm going to help her, she refused my help. So I decided to stop helping and let her do her own things for once. 

I was walking around the park, refreshing my mind until I saw someone familiar. I walked up closer to them and stood behind the tree. As the person turned around, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Jungkook ... with Hyeri. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but by looking at them it looks like they were having a very serious conversation. 

Jungkook (POV) 

Hyeri texted me saying she wanted to talk at the park and if I don't go, she'll come here. So I decided to go and meet her. I lied to Sumi saying that I'm going to the store to get something. I hate lying to her. As I got to the park, Hyeri was already there waiting for me. I walked up to her and she stood up in front of me. 

"So what do you want to talk to about?"

She walked closer to me but I backed away to leave some space between us. 

Hyeri: Jungkook. You need to know why I left you. 

I scoffed at her response. 

"You think I want to know your answer? No matter what you're going to say, I won't believe you."

Hyeri: But you have to listen. I know that what I did to you in the past hurt you a lot and I deserve your attitude towards me, but I can't keep living like this when you don't know the truth. 

"I don't care Hyeri. Does my words made it clear in your ears? I'm happy with Sumi now. I don't need to hear your explanations."

I turned and walked away from her but she ran and stood right in front of me again. 

Hyeri: I'm not letting you go until you hear me out.

"Then try and stop me."

I push her out of my way and walked away. As I got home, I saw Sumi sitting on the couch. I walked up to her and sat next to her. 

"So when did you get home?"

Sumi: Just about a minute ago. Where did you go again?

"To the store. I was trying to look for something but they ran out of it."

Sumi: Are you sure you went to the store?

"Yea. Why did you ask that?"

Sumi: Because you said that you went to the store, but while I was walking around the park I saw someone just like you with Hyeri. 

She then turned towards me and gave me her blank expression. 

"Maybe you were imagining me being there with her."

She then gave me her disbelief look and got off the couch and walked away from me. I let out a sigh and went after her. 

"Sumi, wait. I can explain."
