...
The last time I saw my wife and kids was the day a mob attacked our make shift campsite.
'Flashback'
"Honey. We don't have much further to go until we reach my mom's place. I'm just glad she was a prepper." I laugh and sit back in the car seat. I watch as the kids run around in front of us and my brother keeps guard with his gun ontop of the other car.
"I think we will be there by tomorrow. I can see the outline of Atlanta." I turn around to look at what my wife is pointing out and almost as soon as I do a ear piercing shriek
"Help!" My youngest son, Paul, screams. I turn around picking a gun up off the floor and running to where he is. A walker attempts to bite into his leg as he claws at the ground attempting to get away. I smash in the zombies head with the butt of my gun and look up to see a hoard of zombies running through the trees to get us. I push Paul off towards where his mother is gathering up everything as quick as she can and I run to make my way to help my brother.
I sprint as fast as my feet will carry me and I reach my brother in no time as he throws things into his car. I hurry to help him when a sharp pain pulses in my lower arm. I look back just in time to see the walker that bit me get shot in the head by my brother.
"Get in the car!" He yells. I climb in and we speed off, my wife's car no where in sight.
"I- I was..."
"Liam. Calm down. We're going to go to the CDC and we're going to get you fixed up okay?"
I nod and quickly wrap a cloth around my arm and pull my sleeve down over the wound so my wife won't see it when we meet up. If we meet up.

We never made it to the CDC. We found a hospital and stayed there for the night. My brother got separated from me when that same herd came through and got into the back entrance of the hospital. I ended up turning after I fled the hospital. The hospital was the only thing that kept me alive. When I left I quickly ran out of supplies an before I knew it I had woken up and was a zombie.
