We ended up finishing the adoption the next day, with the Woods excited as ever. We picked up Aden and Gale from Military School the following day, surprising the twins, but they soon adapted to their new home.

We became a great family, always telling each other everything, and laughing and having fun.

I am now eighteen; it's been two years since Autumn and her siblings first became my siblings.

After we adopted the 'nerd' of the class, my popularity lowered some, while Autumn's became higher, but even if mine would've lowered to the very bottom, I wouldn't have been bothered. I love Autumn, and it would be worth it.

We've had a great time together. We've both applied to a variety of colleges, and Autumn got voted Valedictorian for the class of 2013.

Dot started school, and joined a dance class. Maya started Middle School and got her first boyfriend, while the twins were voted class clowns. Luna turns 15 in a few days, and she has earned many ones and twos for solos and ensembles in band. Mom finally agreed to let us get a dog a couple months ago, named Max.

Mom has a great new boyfriend we all love that she met in her cooking class, and they're getting married next year. Then, our family will be complete.

Both of our families had been torn apart until we found each other. We had found hope.

We are family.
