Elijah was confused by the conversation he had just had with James but seeing as James had left and Elijah was finished speaking, he decided to leave and think to himself, how he knew James, as well as the possibility that James may be a Strix member but he was also wondering how a vampire such as James had the ability to invite him in and stop him from entering beforehand. These thoughts continued as Elijah left but upon exiting the front gate the thoughts vanished along with the encounter, it was as if James and Elijah had never met, leaving Elijah with a lingering thought of meeting someone but not knowing who that person was yet he continued going about his day and then the following day he felt a desire to go somewhere, a familiar place that he couldn't picture in his mind.

Elijah followed this desire leading him back to the house where he met Klaus, Freya and Hayley who were also drawn here and just as they were walking up to the house Freya remarked how the land here was rich in magic which is why she couldn't sense The Hollow in Klaus. Just as with Elijah, the previous day, The Mikaelsons were invited in and sat in a complete house in which Elijah, now having his memories back, filled his siblings in while they waited for James who soon arrived taking a seat across from his guest, James was about to give a formal introduction but was unable to as Klaus rose from his seat in both disbelief as Katherine entered the room "It seems the elusive Katherine Pierce still lives, I almost rejoiced when I heard of your fiery demise so much so that I wouldn't believe Elijah as he told me of your wellbeing, I guess cockroaches can survive even hellfire" Klaus spoke with a look of slight amusement as he spoke to Katherine "Nice to meet you too Klaus" Katherine responded with a devilish smile "You're wrong if you were expecting pleasantries because if you remember correctly I save those associates and family, both of which a wretched witch like you aren't permitted to call yourself" Klaus spoke with stern seriousness but was soon interrupted by James "Niklaus please be seated I do not wish for your reunion to spoil the day" James spoke with formality and calmness as Klaus looked at him with intrigued "My family are the only ones to use such a name and unless my mother has decided to claw her way back from the dead into the body of a bachelor then I wouldn't class you as one which makes me wonder why you used my full name" Klaus questioned as he was seated "Like I told your brother I'm someone from your past but alas such a tale should be told at a later date, so please don't worry about it" James' words soothed the room as Klaus did as he was told leaving him confused as to why he listened to him, unfortunately, that was a question he'd not get the answer to as James continued to speak " A more serious conversation will be that of The Hollow" a sentence James said with little tone change despite his own wishes for seriousness.

The Hollow is as ancient as it is powerful" James began leaving no time to prepare themselves for the story "It's something created through the binding of people such as those who created it for it was greed that spawned such an aspect of dark magic." Freya looked at the stranger with interest, wondering what the vampire had to say "It was created a few 100 years after Arcadius was reborn and by this time Arcadius had begun seeking his revenge on the world leaving the supernatural community in terror as to what awaited them after their unfortunate deaths, fear so strong it drove my coven of syphons to seek my council, wishing to cast a spell that would help them both in life and death" This part of the story caused intrigue and confusion but James continued not allowing any of The Mikaelsons a chance to question him.

"Being a trusting person I choice to believe my covens intention were innocent and decided not to look into it further, a mistake it seems that still haunts me to this day. The following evening we performed a spell in which the syphons channelled each other and syphoned me leading them to create a spell that bound them together but also permitted them to perform enough feats of magic without having to syphon or at least syphon less and it was such a spell brought about The Hollow and made the syphons what they are today. Following the casting of the spell I was contacted by members of my witch coven and by my werewolf pack who both told of how the syphons had grown gluttonous and out of hand, taking magic not because they needed but just because they enjoyed it, which they continued to do despite my persistence to control the matter until one day it grew out of control.

The situation continued until one night a syphon decided to consume the magic in one of my werewolves but this poor timing as this was the night of a full moon causing the person to change mid syphon and attack which was very unusual for my werewolves to do especially Labonairs" A name that grabbed Hayley's attention "What do know about my pack?" She interrupted uninterested in the rest of the story "A member of the Labonairs was attacked, a member who turned out to be The Alpha and your relative" This response caused Hayley to move closer wishing to listen further "He was a well-respected Alpha and so when the rest of the the syphons came, he saw it as his duty to protected the pack I had gifted him but due to witch tampering he was in pain striking down the syphons one by one as they heightened his pain and it was the last syphon standing who used what little life and remnant of my magic she had to curse the wolves to the pain of transformation" "So it's this witch who's trying to mess with my head and use me to come back from the dead" Klaus was the second to interrupt, filled with anger that was halted again by James "Not quite, you see this attack lasted the night and by morning The Alpha came to me seeking help with what he had done" James continued.

Despite the brutality of The Alpha's attack the syphon still breathed but with her last breath swore vengeance on both the werewolves and Labonairs but to prevent this from happening I altered the syphons that destined to be born to become what they are, outcasts who both envy witches and hate the hunger for magic they have. Unfortunately though, the essence of the syphons magic rather than linger merged to what is The Hollow, a formless entity seeking rebirth, power and werewolf death" This is where James stopped allowing for the information to settle in but still wishing to study the situation James made The Mikaelsons leave with questions unanswered and eventually no memory of the meet "I think it's best you leave for now and continue your days and eventually I shall call upon you again" James spoke looking deep into The Mikaelsons eyes causing them to do as they were told and return to not knowing James, something he thought best in order to stop too many people from finding out about his presence.
