Long Awaited Love

The news of Hayley and Elijah's wedding had become the talk of The Crescent Wolf pack who spoke of whether it was right to be marrying a vampire, especially an original, even though they supported Hayley's choices no matter what, there was still concern of whether the marriage would provide a better future and if they were ready to trust vampires after the slaughtering of most of their brethren despite all this the packs main focus was the new pack that had been recently formed through the merging of the original packs and if they'd be an enemy or ally. Back at The Abattoir Caroline had taken the mantle of wedding organiser a second time choosing to go for a classic theme of black and white and so over the passing weeks she had the church cleaned out and refitted for the grand event while also having The Crescent pack secretly get the Bayou ready for the after events, due to her working with Elijah's money she had no problem with budget being able to set up both locations without hassle and to her chosen specifications, while all this was going on Caroline had planned Elijah and Hayley's day beginning with cake tasting in which the couple went to different bakeries across New Orleans until they came to a small bakery known for its multicoloured cakes, in which after a few tasters decided on a black and white four-layered floral cake with half of it being angel's food cake and the other half being devil's food cake.

Straight after choosing the cake they were sent their separate ways to have wedding attire fitted, Hayley had chosen a black to white wedding dress patterned with black leaves and despite Elijah insisting he had a suit for such an occasion he was forced into having a fitting in which he chose a traditional black suit with a white tie and shirt, while all this occurred Caroline was close to finishing with just guest placements being the last on her list.
