Gifts and Plans

The ball went late into the night with the supernatural community happily conversing with each other, just as the host and his honorary guests took centre stage in the centre of the ballroom, gracefully waltzing under the watchful eye of Klaus who was already planning ways to kill The Hollow while also analysing James in order to study him and examine what the man's intentions were such as how he knew his family and why he talks as if his someone old and ancient, someone as old or even older than Arcadius but the main priority of Klaus' mind were thoughts on the permanent death of The Hollow and saving his daughter from it and it's influence.

The following morning everything returned to how it used to be with war and tension between the supernatural community yet the blissful memories remained, this was a feeling spreading throughout the entire community excluding The Mikaelsons who attended the party upon their own free-will and so kept genuine feelings throughout the event which is what made it so easy for them to begin to put their plans into full swing, stood around a table in courtyard minus Kol. While in the heat of planning The Mikaelsons were visited by James who now arrived with his parents, a gum chewing Kai and less guards than usual one of which carried a briefcase with him "It seems you Mikaelsons never fail to amaze, I assume you've been formulating a plan for quite some time" James spoke as he took a place at the table "Well seeing as this thing wants me or Marcel dead I would hope that haste in the matter is quite normal especially since upon its resurrection The Hollow will probably come for those who can kill it which would be my daughter and her mother" Klaus annoyingly said taking a glance up to Hope's room "We know it's weakness but we don't know how to create a weapon to kill something with a physical body" Freya spoke staring at Hayley then to James "Well The Hollow, or Inadu as she called herself, is most likely going to find a host especially with Miss Claire alive which accounts for how to attack her now you just need to forge a weapon that's infused with both Hayley's blood and magic in order to kill her to die permanently and seeing as it takes great magic to resurrect her it take equally as much to kill her" James exclaimed as he watched Kol and Davina emerge from Kol's room "I remember doing that when Finn was on a killing rampage after Elijah but for that we just boosted his magic from Niklaus so how will we do the same for The Hollow" Kol spoke as he walked down to the courtyard holding Davina's hand and taking a place at the table

"Seeing as she's a syphoner doing just that will only strengthen her power and so a blade must be made to kill her one fashioned using a portion of each persons magic, a task made possible by these" As James said this the guard holding the briefcase stepped forward and opened it up displaying a set of necklaces and giving them to each member of The Mikaelsons "As pretty as these are what use will they have to us" Rebekah asked as she looked at the necklace only for the answer to come from Freya "They contain powerful magic, magic witches use when casting powerful spells that they couldn't alone but why give one to my siblings if only I can use magic" Freya then put on the necklace "That's the point of my gifts these necklaces will grant the wearer magic, regardless of heritage, based on their arcane knowledge which puts you and Kol at the top of the deck when it comes to casting spells of which you'll use to forge the weapon to kill Inadu" as James said this the rest of the family put on the necklaces feeling overwhelmed with the burst of power flowing through them "That's all good and well James but Rebekah's not exactly a useful witch and enough she was we still have no clue where The Hollow is, the ancestors say she's hidden in a host body which means they can't find her and if she's as powerful as you say it won't be easy finding her" Davina added as she stepped forward to the table "A good point Miss Claire which is why Kai is here" "Hello" Kai interrupted with a smile and small wave "And in order to help you look and to cope with the cloaking spell Inadu will inevitably cast I took the liberty of taking The Mikaelsons blood last night for a spell to strengthen you" upon saying this James rolled out a piece of paper with each of The Mikaelsons names on and began to cast a spell while pouring their blood onto it "This spell not only restores Niklaus' sire line but also grants you strength from all who you have turned so that being the oldest vampires alive won't be the only reason for your immense strength but rather the many sired to your bloodline" the spell caused the blood to spread to each name finishing with Klaus who had a big smile on his face as he felt his sire bond reforge and his strength grow.

When the spell was finished James pulled out another vial of blood drawing Kai to the table "Now that you have the strength to trap Inadu you need the means to find her and as I said Kai will be helping Davina accomplish this but not as a normal heretic but rather an original one which is what Klaus's blood will allow to occur" as James said this he handed the vial to Kai how had it snatched by Klaus who ran from his position to Kai's then back "Having my blood to return my sire line and empower me but using it to create an original is where I draw the line, why my blood and not that of Elijah or Kol, let me guess is it because I'm hybrid because if so your a bit too late to to use that excuse I've already fallen for that once and don't plan to make the same mistake twice" Klaus annoyingly spoke as he examined the blood only for it to return to James in a blink of an eye "That excuse may have ran it's course Niklaus but never the less your blood will be used for this in order to grant Kai the power and strength of a vampire of your age" and just like that he returned it to Kai "Cheers or bottoms up or whatever you'd like to say" Kai said with a grin as he drank Klaus blood and kept his smile when James snapped his neck and he woke back up "Wow I feel amazing and I thought the merging ceremony was fun" Kai joking said as he readjusted himself "And now you have a 1,000-year-old original heretic to help you find Inadu" James then removed a map from his suit pocket and also a dagger placing both on the table "You now have the means to find and kill Inadu" James then took a seat as the process went underway.

After several hours of incantations The Hollow was discovered and the weapon forge and with little time for thought Klaus and Elijah left to confront The Hollow while everyone else stayed and awaited their return but upon finding The Hollow's hideout the brothers were ambushed by witches who had joined The Hollow in hopes of being safe from The Hollow's wrath upon her resurrection and while the brothers made short work of the witches they began to struggle against The Hollow, in her host body, who ended things by throwing the two against a wall and tying the rose thorns around their wrists while she slowly approached them "Two handsome powerful men fighting over me I feel so lucky and you brought gifts how thoughtful" as she said this she removed the necklaces from the brothers and made sure to take the dagger "I now have two souls and necklaces from The Original himself, when I resurrect in my real body using you two and these necklaces I'll have enough power to take the crown from Arcadius and engulf this pitiful flames for what they did to me but first I'll need the rest of my bones something I'm sure your family will happily help me with if they think I'll spare your lives" Inadu happily told of family while the brothers struggled and their family patiently waited for their return hoping they would have ended this and saved hope along with everyone else in New Orleans.
