Chapter 22 Calming Down

"Why should I thank you?" Daniel asked confused on why he was emptying blood into her.

"Well just look." Daniel looked at Marie. Marie started to calm down.

"Okay well I guess I do have a reason to thank you." Daniel laughed and hugged Drake. Daniel took the syringe and set it on the bedside table.

"She is still extremely pissed at me so... I better go before she wakes up. FYI have you seen Rosalie she disappeared and it made me mad." Daniel nodded.

"Yeah she was just here a few minutes ago. She put a hand on my shoulder in the hallway we talked for a couple minutes and she just vanished." Drake growled.

"That girl I swear." He laughed and said goodbye leaving. Daniel sat by Marie and saw her calmed look. He could've sworn he had seen her smile.

'Daniel, I know Drake was here I'm not an idiot.' Daniel laughed. 'I'll kick his ass later. Also Rosalie was here?' Daniel sighed.

"She told me not to tell you anything. She said you'll find her soon enough."

'I'll kill her. She made me think that she fucking died dammit. Also that was a very painful night.' Daniel frowned.

"What?"

'Grab my hand and I'll show you, but it will take most of my energy probably all of it.' She sent and Daniel hesitantly took her hand. His eyes widened as he watched.

Marie and Rosalie stood in an alley surrounded. Surrounded by a gang of vampires. Marie stood still breathing heavily. One moved quickly and pinned Marie to the wall. This one was a hybrid. A vampire and a soul sucker. He breathed in and Marie's eyes widened as her soul started disappearing. Rosalie growled and pulled out a dagger. She stabbed him and Marie fell almost blacking out. She watched as Rosalie fought him. He stabbed her stomach and she stumbled backwards. She held the dagger. "ROSALIE!" Marie screamed as he bit into her neck not letting go. He finally backed off and Rosalie passed out. He turned to Marie and kicked her stomach. Marie fell on her side crying. He kicked her again and again. Finally he bent down and cut her forehead and arm. She bled and they disappeared. She started to pass out seeing Rosalie wake up her eyes red. Finally everything went black.

Daniel snapped out of it and looked at Marie as she passed out completely. She had lost all her energy just from showing him that. He couldn't believe that, that had happened to her. That was awful to have to go through. Daniel sighed and laid down beside her. Marie moved her head onto his shoulder. She'd move in pain and Daniel would have to inject her again. This had gone on all night. Finally she stopped feeling pain and went to sleep.
