The Curse Of The Universes (A Steven Universe Fanfiction)

Just a normal day

"Connie are you okay?"

"Yeah, just a bit sick," said Connie looking as green as Peridot.

"I told you to not go on the scrambler with a full stomach." Said Steven as he ran to get a barf bag for Connie. He suddenly felt very dizzy and he was seeing things that weren't there.

It has now been a year since Greg was abducted by blue diamond, but the diamond base did something to Steven, and he had the occasional flash of a familiar but unknown picture here or a small sound there but his fits were never this bad.

 Connie immediately jumped into action and called the gems who now had their own phones, and Greg.

"He just started wobbling and crying, I tried to steady him but it's like he can't see me or anyone else. Wait, is his gem supposed to glow like that? HURRY!" 

The gems super jumped to the boardwalk, Greg left Sour Cream (his new employee) in charge and drove as fast as he could.

"Connie where is Steven!?" Asked pearl in a panic.

"Over there, but the light from his gem is taking over his body!"

Greg was shaken, "But that's what happened to Rose when... oh my god"

They all ran to Steven's side just in time to whiteness the light take over his body completely and change the shape of his body.

"Guys what's going on?!" Asked Connie through her tears.

Greg had a grave face as he recited something like a poem, "when the child reaches fifteen, with his life  the light shall intervene."

"What was that?" Asked Connie truly scared out of her mind.

"The whisper that came from nowhere when Rose turned into Steven." Said Garnet "I didn't think of it at the time but now it makes sense, all of it!"

The figure of light that was Steven has now come to a solid form and was gaining color and detail as it descended to the wooden boardwalk and got dimmer and dimmer until it looked like a normal being.

It stood and everyone gasped.

It was Rose Quartz, back from the dead.
