Steven opens his eyes. He was in his own bed. And next to him, was Connie
She had been sitting next to him in a small wooden chair for the past two days. The gems, Greg, and her parents, brought her food and she hurried her bathroom breaks. She was sleeping when Steven woke up.
"C-Connie?" He said weakly.
She woke up immediately.
"STEVEN!" She exclaimed as she hugged him.
"Connie what happened?" He asked, very confused.
"Um well we were at the boardwalk and you sort of fainted and started glowing so I called the gems and your dad and when they got there you had started to change form. And you sort of turned into, well, your mom."
"WHAT? I need to talk to the gems!" He said as he got out of bed.
"Um Steven there is something you need to know" Connie said as Steven was rushing toward the bathroom to brush his teeth and comb his hair.
"NOT NOW CONNIE!" Steven yelled.
"But Steven- you know what he'll find out on his own." Connie said stopping right outside the bathroom door.
Behind the door Connie could hear Steven pick up his comb then drop it in shock.
"I was trying to tell you that your hair is pink" Connie said smartly.
