"Rose, What do we do?!" pearl said tears streaming down her face. "We don't have enough gems to fight homeworld again!"
"We must gather an army" Rose said her eyes in the shadow of her hair. "Amethyst go help Greg evacuate the humans.
"Okay." Said amethyst having never been in the big gem war
"Garnet, pearl, we have some gems to wake up, garnet, open your room."
"Yes Rose" said garnet, ready to take orders instead of giving them.
"Gems to wake up? What do you mean rose?" Pearl asked frantically.
"You'll see" Rose replied being as serious as ever. "But where's lion and my sword?"
"Umm, lion is with Connie, and your sword is with her too." Pearl said, worried about Rose's reaction. "I should call her to come over and bring lion."
While pearl calls Connie, garnet opens the temple to her room, the heart of the temple.
"-okay, thank you Connie. Well Connie said that lion has been acting strange but they should be here in a few seconds. " pearl said, acting a bit fidgety due to the giant hands in the sky.
Just a few seconds later Connie and lion ran into Steven's house, "pearl I'm worried about lion he's acting different!"
"That's because lion contains Steven's soul." Said Rose, as she got stares from all around the room. "When I saved lion as a baby I made it so that when either Steven or Nora was born I would go into lion but I guess when Steven "turned into" me he went into lion."
"Nora?" Connie asked looking very puzzled.
"That's what Steven would be named if he was a girl." Rose replied with a caring tone. "Oh! I need to get into li- I mean Steven."
A few minutes later she returns with the chest that no one could find the key to, and asked Connie for her sword. She took part of the handle off and used it to open the chest. The Chest contained a vial with a glowing pink liquid inside.
"Anticorruption super tears" said Rose, reading everyone's mind. "Pink diamond gave me her tears in event of an almost shattered gem but I mixed them with my tears and made super tears. And now we must use them on the corrupted gems in the temple. Now let's go."
They enter the temple and the door shuts behind them.
