"Good Afternoon, Sir Jhake," bati agad ni Camilla sabay tayo pagdating ni Jhake sa opisina.
"Thanks, Cam. Asan si Dei?" He pointed at the empty station across his office.
"Pinapunta ni Mr. A sa office..."
"This soon?" He chuckled. "Ano na naman ang ginawa niya ngayon?"
"Naabutan kasi ni Mr. A si ate na naglilinis ng ipin gamit ang saging-"
Jhake bursted in laughter.
"Boss, patatalsikin ba sa trabaho si Ate Dei?"
"I don't think so," he wiped the tiny tear forming at the corner of his right eye. "That's not enough ground to fire someone. Makakatanggap lang siguro ng strike si Dei. I hope this will finally give her a lesson. Cam, do you know where Dei keeps my files on her computer?"
"Hindi po, sir. Hahan-"
"Ako na lang. Keep typing those documents. I'll be needing it soon," he pointed at the piles of paper that Camilla was typing on her computer.
"Okay po, sir Jhake."
Pumunta sa likod ng mesa ni Dei si Jhake. Hindi niya namalayan ang munting balat ng saging sa sahig kaya naapakan niya ito at nadulas paupo sa sahig.
Camilla quickly stood up in surprise. "O-Okay ka lang po, Sir Jhake?"
"Medyo masakit..." He chuckled but the pain was visible on his face.

Mahigpit na tinakpan ni Dei ang bibig ng kamay para supilin ang sariling tawa. "Bakit po?"
"To help you live a comfortable life."
"Haaaaa???? Eh kasi po, ikakasal na ko sa iba."
"To your boyfriend? Good! Then we can cancel this arranged marriage then." Nagulat si Dei kasi he genuinely sounded excited despite the serious look.
