"Akala ko kitchen," bulalas ni Dei sabay hila sa sarili palayo sa labasan ng pool area.
"Dei, come back!" rinig niyang tawag nito. But Dei quickly seek escape to her bedroom. She locked the door and frantically walked around the room.
Nabisto ka na! Nabistooooo!
She dropped her knees on the floor and raised both arms up in the sky outside the large windows, silently questioning God why He gave her such a hot fiance.
"Dei..." Alden knocked on the door and tried to turn the knob. "Open the door."
Agad na umiling si Dei. Her heart beating erratically out of panic.
"Dei, don't make me use the master key."
"Wala na si Dei dito. Tumalon na sa building."
It took him a whole minute to respond. "Open the door."
Because he said it in a commanding tone, napilitan si Dei na lumapit sa pinto. "Bakit ba?"
"I am going to clean your wound."
"May suot ka na bang damit?"
"I'm... wearing a bathrobe."
Pumasok agad sa isip ni Dei ang gabing nalasing siya at aksidenteng nahila ang tali sa bathrobe ni Alden. "Hindi! Dapat magbihis ka muna!"
Matagal itong sumagot kaya inakala niyang wala na ito sa pinto. But he replied later. "Fine."

"Dei's here?" Alden asked the cleaning ladies and it prompted her to hide beneath the island counter.
Nagulat siya ng biglang yumuko si Alden at nakaharap sa kanya. "Hilig mo talaga magtago sa ilalim ng mesa kapag may pinagtataguan?"
Tumango siya.
"Are we going to clean your wound here o sa sofa?"
"Sofa..."
"Then come. Watch your head." Inalalayan siya nito papuntang sala and the staffs secretly enjoyed watching this sweet side of their boss.
Habang naglilinis ito ng sugat niya, ang maharot niyang mga mata panay titig sa mga labi nito. They looked so soft, so inviting...
She wanted to touch it.
No. She wanted to kiss it.
No. She wanted to taste it.
The he suddenly did his best move. He bit the corner of his lips.
And. It. Was. Tempting!
"Saglit lang, Alden. Hihinga muna ako." She pushed him away and took a deep breathe.
