Cry Wolf : Assault on the 13th Precint

Chapter 7: Play For Blood

Ben put the radio away, walked around to the tailgate of the truck and opened it. He grabbed out his tactical vest, tactical gun holster that attaches to his belt and portable police radio and began to put it all on.

"Gear up boys we're going after him and Jackson, if we don't hurry the fire department and 12th precinct will die too," explained Ben as he loaded both his guns.

They drove to the warehouse that the 13th precinct raided two years back and when they got there the attack had already began, several firefighters had been injured. They pulled over and ran over to the Lieutenant Seeley Adams of SWAT who was thinking over a plan of entry. Jacobi has a bit of history with Seeley from back when he was a Sniper with SWAT.

"What's the situation?" asked Jacobi as he did up his vest.

"There's a sniper we can't spot and he's taken out the front entry team and anyone who has tried to help them. We aren't sure how many suspects are in there but there are two firefighters being held hostage and I need to get the injured men out of there. Firefighters got a 911 for this address and arrived only to find an ambush," replied Seeley, "it's good to see you again Jacobi, thinking about returning to SWAT?."

Jacobi shook his head and smiled a bit.

"Nah, this is way more fun, I've almost been blown up and shot at several times within 2 weeks, it's great," replied Jacobi

Ben stood there for a few minutes in deep thought. It was happening all over again David's gang was pulling the same stunt as a year and a half ago.

"He's 'crying wolf' again," explained Ben,

Wolf looked at him weird,

"What?" asked Wolf.

"You know the kids tale about the boy who cried wolf, he kept saying the wolf was eating the sheep but it wasn't then when the wolf really did attack, the villagers didn't believe him. This same thing happened at the raid two years back, the cops got a tip that there was some major gang activity happening, when the cops got there nothing was going on but then they were ambushed. He has done it again only with the fire department this time," explained Ben.

Bryan, Jacobi, Wolf and Lieutenant Seeley crowded near Ben,

"What's the plan?" asked Bryan,

Ben looked at them all,

"Seeley, how many men do you have left?" asked Ben,

"About two teams of five and four snipers," replied Seeley.

Ben began to explain the plan to them. Ben's plan was very complex as the success of the plan relied on everyone completing their task. Seeley and his two SWAT teams would make their entry through the back door while Ben, Jacobi, Wolf and Bryan would climb the emergency stairs to the second floor. Once the second floor was clear, Ben and wolf would go to the fourth floor while Bryan and Jacobi would go to the third floor. Seeley's sniper team would look over the whole situation.

While everyone got a few last things together Ben thought a bit about the raid two years back.

"Guys, before we go up there I can't warn you enough on how dangerous David and Jackson are, if by some chance you come across them before I do radio me your position immediately. I spent 3 years undercover in David's operations, if there's anyone who knows David it's me," explained Ben.

Seeley looked at the name on the back of their bullet proof vests,

"What's B-CATT?" asked Seeley.

"Brutal - Counter Assault and Tactics Team," replied Wolf, "We're the new tactics team."

They made their way down the side alley, Seeley and the SWAT teams went round to the back entrance and Ben, Wolf, Bryan and Jacobi went up the fire escape to the second floor and waited for the "go" from Seeley.
