A Struggle With Love

What do we do now?

It wasn't until 15:36 that Russell woke up to the sound of Jon cleaning up around him. He'd fallen on the floor at some point in the night and had only just remembered the details of the night before. He was surprised how he didn't tell Jon he loved him there and then. But most importantly, he wasn't as depressed anymore.

"Morning!" Russell beamed as a huge grin plastered onto his face.
"Hey, glad you're up now." Jon laughed.
"Why?" Russell asked as he walked into the kitchen.
"You make me happy, that's why, idiot."
Russell went over to Jon, who was washing the dishes, and wrapped his arms around him. Jon nuzzled his face into Russell's and carried on cleaning. Jon handed him a t shirt that was folded into an immaculate square.
"This one's your favourite, right?" Jon asked unsure.
"Yeah, it is thanks." Russell pulled the shirt over his head.
"Um Russ?"
"Hm?"
"I er love you, Russ."
"I love you too, freak." Russell joked sincerely.
"Russell?"
"Yes Jon."
"We are like, together right?"
"I don't believe it's been made official by either of us yet."
"Oh right."
"Jon?"
"Hm?"
"Will you be my boyfriend, I don't believe I've ever sounded so cringey in my life mate."
"Yeah, obviously my answer is yes."
"Should we tell people?" Asked Jon nervously.
"Whatever, I'm comfortable to but if you aren't you're under no pressure to tell anyone about us."
"Yeah I dunno."
"Maybe we could go on the last leg? They keep inviting me and I could bring you, I am close friends with Adam."
"Ok sure but don't be surprised if I back out."
"Shall I call him now and ask?"
"Sure, Adam's great."
Russell picked up the phone and called Adam, it rang for a while and he picked up on the last dial.
"Hey, sorry, what's up?"
"Um yeah, Jon and I have something to tell you."
"Oh, what is it mate?"
"Well, it's, um."
"We're together." Jon shouted.
"Congrats mate!" Adam beamed.
"Yeah and I'm gay!" Blurted Russell.
"I'm bi, not gay." Said Jon.
"Awesome!" Exclaimed Adam, not really sure what to say. He sounded as though he already knew what was going on.
"We wondering if we could announce it on your show. The audience there tends to be accepting."
"Anything for you two. This Friday ok?"
"Jon?"
"Yes. That's fine." Jon assured him.
"Ok cool, I'll sort it out with the manager. Right ok I gotta go but I'll see you on Friday!" Adam Hills reassured them.
"See you on Friday!" Both of them said.
