 "It's good to see you." My father said and bowed to the king who bowed back. "This is my family!"

"Welcome to our kingdom and to our castle." The king said. "These are my wife and my two children! Now please come inside!"

The prince was really handsome. And his family too. I looked at him and he was looking at me too. I blushed and smiled looking to the ground. I saw that he smiled too.

The outside of the castle was giant. It had flowers everywhere!

"You must be Charlotte!" The king said to me.

"Yes I am, your highness!" I said and bowed.

"This is my son." The prince walked in my direction.

"My name is Seokjin, nice to meet you, princess Charlotte." He said and kissed my hand.

"It's a pleasure, prince Seokjin!" I smiled shyly.

"The servants will show you your rooms. We'll meet you in fifteen minutes in the dining room to drink some tea." The king said and everyone went inside.

Some servants showed us the rooms. The castle was amazing and very big. Rose and Mia's room was next to mine. Mine was very big. It was so beautiful and the furniture amazing. It had a big closet full of dresses, shoes, tiaras and jewelry. The bed was stupidly big. I think my entire family could sleep in there and there would still have some space left. The sheets were white and the pillows pink. There was a makeup desk with a big mirror. The curtains were pink like the pillows and the carpet. It had a big balcony. I opened the window and walked to the balcony. It had a view to the palace's gardens and to the woods.

I came inside and went to the dinning room with everyone. My mom told me to put my tiara.

"Jin darling, why don't you take Charlotte to see the gardens before dinner?" The queen suggested.

"Of course mother" Prince Seokjin answered. "Please come with me." He said to me and I followed him.

We walked in silence through the big corridors of the palace. We arrived at a big door that the prince opened.

"Please." He said and let me walk out first. I smiled to thank him.

The garden was very beautiful. The air even smelled like flowers.

"How old are you Charlotte?" He asked.

"I'm eighteen, prince Seokjin!" I said politely.

"Oh please just call me Jin." He giggled. "What do you think, princess? Do you like the flowers?"

"Yes! Very much." I smiled "Everything looks beautiful!" I said while we were walking.

"Just like the princess." He said making me blush but I smiled anyways. "We shouldn't stay in here for too long. It's quite late and the night will come soon."

"Are you afraid of the dark, prince Jin?" I asked and giggled.

"Oh, no. The night is the worst time of the day!" He said in a serious tone.

"What makes you think that?" I asked.

"It's at night that the creatures from the dark appear."

"Don't tell me the prince is afraid of ghosts!" I laughed.

"No princess." He laughed too. "I wasn't talking about ghosts. I don't know if you know but you probably don't because you're a girl and still young, but there are some creepy creatures that only appear at night. They drink the blood of humans. Vampires."

"Vampires? I have never heard of those."

"It's probably because your parents were trying to protect you. Those creatures are dangerous. Never trust them. They look like humans but they're monsters inside."

"Wow that's scary." I was scared.

"I know."

We kept walking until we arrived at another door. We entered again in the castle and walked to the dining room. A man opened us the door and everyone was sitting in the table.

"Just in time." The king said. The dinner will be served!"

I sat beside my brother and my mother and the prince sat beside his little sister in front of me.

"So Charlotte what to you think about the gardens?" The queen asked me.

"They're absolutely amazing, your highness!"
"I'm happy you liked it." The king said. "And I'm glad that the two of you came inside before the night came."

"Yes you should be very careful in here, Charlotte." My father said.

In my kingdom I never went out of the castle. We didn't even have gardens like these. My life was quite boring. I spent most of my time reading in the big castle's library. I loved books! They made me imagine that I was in another world living another life. I also spent time with the girls. We spent our time talking about cute boys that came to the palace.

After dinner everyone went to their rooms. The food was amazing and the desserts were so good! Even the cutlery was beautiful!

When I arrived at my room I took off my dress and the bodice and dressed a white night dress. I took off everything that was in my hair and sat in the chair in front of the mirror brushing my hair. The room was being illuminated by some candles. The curtains were opened and I could see the outside. It was an amazing night. There were a lot of stars in the sky and the moon was shining so much.

I loved the night even though the dangers it had. I walked to the window. I opened it and walked to the balcony. I felt the air of the night in my face and my hair. It felt good but I heard a noise that scared me. I had the feeling that I was being observed.

I came back inside and closed the window and the curtains. I blew up the candles and went to bed. I covered myself with the sheets and fell asleep.
