A. N. Special chapter because I love you❤️

-It's Jungkook- I whispered.
-Drink the potion- he told me holding the girl's body.
-We can't take her with us- I said and drank the liquid.
Jongdae disappeared and the body fell on the water again. The door was opened so I was about to leave but Jungkook entered. I stepped back and covered my mouth not to speak. He looked miserable. His clothes were all stained with blood and his hair was messy. His eyes were red but he didn't look angry. Sad was the right word to describe him.
He looked at the bathtub and knelt in front of it.
-Oh, Elly- he said sadly- I lost you and now I lost Lottie too- his voice cracked. I swallowed- why? I hate myself so much. I don't deserve to be alive- he was really crying- I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you, Elly. You died because of me. I feel like you're still in here. Why did you left me?
I started trying to get out from there but something was stopping me.
-I love you so much, Lottie, I'm so sorry for everything I've done. Why did you left me too? I'm so sorry for everything.
A tear fell from my eyes but I quickly cleaned it. I hated seeing him like this. So miserable, so sad.
I ran way from that place and met Jongdae in the garden.
-Thank God you're okay, I was about to go in there again- he said when he saw me.
-I'm fine- I said.
During the ride I thought about Jungkook. I'm so sorry for him. He's so sad and hating himself because of me. But... he said the girl's death was his fault. Did he really kill her? Or... was it fake?
-Jongdae?- I said when we arrived at the palace.
-Yes, my love- he calls me this sometimes so it's not strange for me anymore. Actually, I like it.
-When I was still in there and Jungkook came he said your sister's death was his fault but... it didn't look like he killed her.
-Do you really think so?- he asked seriously.
-Yes... he said things like he couldn't avoid her death. He couldn't protect her from the assassin.
It was night again. I didn't feel really tired. We both had our meal in silence.
-Do you want to go to the library?- Jongdae asked and I nodded.
We walked together to there, me holding his arm like we always do.
I tried to concentrate in reading my book but I couldn't. My mind was in the castle, in that bathroom. I was thinking about him. I actually felt guilty for him. He's so sad because of me.
-Charlotte- Jongdae said and I looked at him- what's happening?
-What? Nothing. Why do you ask?
-Because you've been looking at the same page of your book for thirty minutes now. What's wrong?
-Nothing- he sighed.
-You still love Jungkook, don't you?- Yes.
-No! I don't love him! I can't love him! He's a liar!- no he's not.
-Yes you do, Charlotte- he said.
-I can't love him, Jongdae. Can I...?- He smiled.
-My love, look at my eyes and tell me, a heart full of love can't be hidden.

   -I don't know, Jongdae...
   -You love him, I can see in your eyes. You're deeply in love with him. You're not happy in here with me, you should go and live with him.
-Can I...
   -Go- he held my hand.
   -Thank you, Jongdae- I smiled and bowed.
I was getting up but he stopped me.
   -What's that?- he almost screamed. His eyes opened very much and his expression looked serious.
   -W-What?- I asked nervously.
   -That necklace- he pointed at the necklace I had when my father found me.
   -T-This was from my biological parents- I said confused.
   -Come with me- he grabbed me by my arm.
He grabbed me to the room of the witch. He knocked before opening the door. Lisa got a bit surprised and looked at us.
-What can I do for- Jongdae interrupted her.
-Is this it?- he asked her. What were they talking about?
-Yes- she said.
-Is she... her?
-Yes, your majesty.
Jongdae looked relieved. Like he figured something out or like he found out about something. I was so confused about everything.
-Thank you, Lisa...
We walked to the gardens in silence.
-I'm sorry, forget what just happened- he smiled- Are you ready to go back to your lover?- I smiled- don't worry about our wedding, I'll take care of it as soon as I can.
He rode agin to Jungkook's castle. It was night time, everyone was up and walking in the castle. We both stopped at the big door that was opened and a lot of guest were entering. 'Ball night' I thought.
-Are you happier now?- he asked.
-Yes... thank you, Jongdae...
-I just want you to be happy... I'm really sorry for everything, Linnie ...
-Linnie?- I laughed a bit.
-Yes- he laughed too- That's what i used to call you when you were a baby?
-What?
Before I could ask anything else he bit his wrist and put it in my mouth. I couldn't avoid drinking his blood. I tried to stop him but he was very much stronger than me.
-See you later- he said smiling.
And then he broke my neck. Everything got black.
