XIV

   I stayed looking at the walls for a long time. What am I going to do? I can't say yes because I don't love Jin and I can't say no because the queen can kill Jungkook. Actually, I thought our marriage was already confirmed.
   I sighed and then got up. The girls called me to go. The ball was about to start. We arrived at the door of the big salon but we had to wait because of the big queue of people.
   It was almost my time to go when someone held my arm.
   -I looked everywhere for you- it was Jin.
   He looked very elegant just like his mother. He was wearing his prince crown. I was wearing my princess crown too. I got shivers when I saw his face just by remembering the talk with his mother.
   -It's out time to enter, come on- he said and held my hand.
   A man was announcing the guests.
   -And now the prince of our kingdom, Seokjin- he said- and the princess of the neighborhood kingdom, Charlotte!
   The people clapped and we walked downstairs. My parents and Jin's were there. The girls came after us with Jimin and Taehyung. I didn't see Kookie.
   Jin had to compliment the guests so I just went to the balcony to get some hair. There were a lot of people in there actually. I sat in a chair looking at the stars.  The sky looked very beautiful.
   When I heard the music I came back inside. Jin was still talking with the people. I looked everywhere for the girls. When I saw them someone held my hand. I turned around to see a beautiful and elegant Jungkook with fancy clothes.
   -Will you give me one dance?- he asked and bowed.
   -Yes- I smiled and held his hand.
   We went to the dance place. He smiled and I smiled back. While dancing he pulled my body closer to him and put his face beside my ear.
   -There are vampires in here- he whispered.
   -What? Here?- I whispered too.
   -Yes- he said a bit concerned- do you have your ring?- he asked and I showed him my hand- good. Just stay closer to me alright?
   -Yes- I nodded.
   We danced until the end to the music and then went to where the girls and the boys were. We stayed in there talking for a while. The girls wanted to dance and the boys agreed in going. I didn't want to go very much. Jungkook took me to the balcony where there wasn't very much people.
   We sat in the bench closer to the border admiring the sky. Suddenly two men appeared and were coming in our direction. We got up.
   -Stay beside me- he said.
   I couldn't see the face of the men. They walked in our direction and then bowed at Jungkook. Once they were standing again we could see their faces. They looked very beautiful. Their face was shining very much.
   -We came to talk with you- one said and looked at me.
   -You can say it, Taemin- Jungkook said.
   -The people are questioning your disappearing- the other said.
   -You should came back- the other one who I suppose it's Taemin said.
   -I'll go soon- Jungkook said- Baekhyun and Taemin, take care of everything.
   -As you say- they said and bowed and then disappeared.
   -What's happening?- I asked.
   -Problems. Where I live- he said and we sat back.
   -Charlotte!- someone called me. It was Jin- it's out time to dance let's go!
   I looked at Jungkook and then got up. I held Jin's arm and we walked to the dance place. Jungkook came after us.
   Jin guided us to the middle of the people. We danced in silence. It was an embarrassing silence. When the music ended the king went upstairs which was a place everyone could see him.
   -Come- Jin said and we walked to the same place where he was.
   My family and the girls were there. The king was saying some things that I wasn't listening.
   -And now I give the word to my son- he said and Jin walked to the front and grabbed my hand with him.
   -Thank you father- he first bowed- first of all I'm very thankful of your presence in here this night. I wanted to say something in front of all of you- he turned to me- Princess Charlotte, we've met a while ago and the time we spent together was very good- no. He's going to ask it. Fuck- so- he knelt- would you give me the honor of being my wife?- he smiled with a ring on his hand. A fake smile.
   What should I do? I looked at the queen she was smiling victoriously. My parents were hoping I said yes just like the all guests. The girls whispered no, concerned. And then Jungkook. His face was serious. I just wanted to run to his arms and cry. I looked back at Jin. He was waiting for my answer. A tear felt from my eye but it wasn't a tear of happiness.
   -Y-Yes- I finally answered and everyone clapped.
   I saw Jungkook disappearing through the crowd. Jin got up and put the ring on my finger. The finger where I had the ring that Jungkook gave me.
   We had to dance again and sometimes I felt the tears falling.
   -I'm not happy either. Go talk with him.- Jin said. He kind of surprised me.
   That was the only thing he said. When the music ended we bowed and I looked for Jungkook. I couldn't find him.
   -Charlotte, what happened?-Mia asked.
   -Where's Jungkook?- I asked crying.
   -I think he left to his room- Jimin said.
   -If anyone asks, I'm felling bad- I said.
    I ran as fast as I could. I left the big salon and ran to the guest's rooms. When I finally arrived at Jungkook's I had to stop because I couldn't breath. When I was more calm but still crying I knocked at the door.
   -Jungkook... it's me- I cried- I'll enter.
   I opened the door. The room was very dark and the only light was the moonlight. In a corner there was a shadow. His shadow. I slowly walked in his direction.
   -Jung-kook...
   -Why did you say yes?- he asked with an normal voice.
   -I'm so sorry but I couldn't say no- I cried and fell on the floor.
   -Why?- he screamed- why did you say yes?- he got up and looked at me. His eyes were red.
   -Because if I had said no she would kill you- I screamed crying- I was just trying to protect you.
   -What?- he's voice was normal again- who was going to kill me?
   -The queen- I said- she found out about us and she came talk to me. I'm so sorry.- he was surprised and shocked.
   -And did you think anyone can kill me?- he sat beside me and cuddled my hair.
   -I don't know. I'm so sorry Jungkook! I love you!
   -I love you too, princess!- he said and kissed me.
   -What are we going to do now?- I asked against his chest.
   -I don't know but I'm sure we'll find out soon- he kissed me passionately again.
