   The next weeks Chen gave me lessons everyday. Dance and piano classes. I can finally play the music that I love so much. Chen is very kind. He says I play very well. We spend all days together. I barely see Kookie... Only in the room and during meals.
   I only saw the girls twice these days. They're busy in Jimin's and Taehyung's houses. We don't spend time like we used to anymore... I know they're with their boyfriends and that but I kinda miss them...
   Today there will be a ball. Again. But today is in the palace. There's one everyday but the ones in the palace are always different. Today is here. Jungkook asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. I already know I'll only see him a few times. We'll dance and then he has to go to talk with people I don't know who are. It's always like this
   When I was ready I walked to the big salon that was already filled with people. Everyone had masks. Today is a ball of masks. I put mine. It's pink like my dress. It has some gold details.
   I sat in a chair and looked at the people entering. So many vampires with masks.
   -Hi, Charlotte!- a feminine voice screamed. I turned around and saw Claire, the blonde girl.
  She was wearing a green dress with a big cleavage, as always. She sat with the other girls around me.
   -You look beautiful. What have you been doing all this nights?
   -Nothing special. Just classes- I said.
   -Sounds boring- she said and then laughed- you see. If any night you want to come shopping and partying with us just let me know- she winked- my big brother has one of the biggest houses in here and his parties are stunning- she said and the other girls around her agreed.
   -You have a brother?- I asked. Is he a vampire too? He must be.
   -Yes. He's amazing! Our mother always jokes that he is the best in the family!- they all laughed.
   -He's your mother a vampire too?- I asked. I think I'm doing a lot of questions tonight.
   -Of course, sweetheart! How would I be a vampire like this if my mother wasn't one?- she laughed. She had a sort of fake laugh but I guess it's really the way she laughs.
   -She looks confused, Claire- one of the girls which name I don't know said.
   -Why are you so confused, dear?- Claire asked.
   -It's just that I though vampires couldn't have children...
   -What nonsense! There are two types of vampires, the pure bloods and the fake bloods- she started explaining- the pure bloods are born from two other pure bloods. This are the ones that can have children. Pure bloods are the ones that were always vampires- she said- the fake bloods are humans that were turned into vampires by other fake bloods or even pure bloods. These ones are dead which means they can't reproduce.
   -Uhm... then... what happens if a pure blood and a fake blood have a child? Or even a pure blood and a human?- I asked and everyone looked very seriously at me.
   -That's- Claire looked at the other girls- that's forbidden by the law. Not the royal family but by the first vampire- she said and her faced turned more happy- but I'm sure Jk told you this, didn't he?- she laughed.
   -Yes, sure- I laughed- I just forgot- I laughed again to hide my sadness.
   I excused myself saying I had to go to my room and left the big salon. I was sad actually. It's a stupid reason but Kookie lied to me. It feels like I was betrayed.
   I really went to my room but then I fell in someone. It was Jungkook.
   -Charlotte? What are you doing here? Why aren't you at the ball?- he asked. He was wearing his crown and a blue mask that he took off to talk to me.
   -Don't you trust me?- I asked with tears about to fall from my eyes. We were on the third floor so no one was there.
   -What?- he asked.
   -I asked if you don't trust me!- I almost screamed.
   -Why are you asking me that?
   -Why did you lie about how vampires? Why did you tell me vampires could never have children because they were dead?- I asked and the tears were now falling. He sighed.
   -I lied because- he sighed again- because I thought if this worked on something you would want to have children and I didn't want to give you that hope. Yes, it's true that vampires can have children but only the pure bloods.
   -You're a fake blood, aren't you?
   -Yes. And I didn't want to tell you that there are some vampires that can have children when I can't.
   -But why? I don't care if you can't have children? I love you okay? I just hate lies!- I cried even more.
   -Lottie- he approached me but I stepped back.
   -Don't touch me- I screamed- I want to be alone so please don't follow me- I said and ran out of the palace in the direction of the gardens.
   I stayed there on the ground of a corner crying until it was day. I was there alone. Suddenly a hand was place on my shoulder.
   -Go away, Jungkook!- I screamed and turned to him. It was him. It was Chen- I-I'm sorry Chen.
   -Why are you here crying?- he asked and knelt beside me.
   -It's nothing- I cleaned my tears with my sleeve but the new ones kept falling.
   -Don't cry, Charlotte- he said and gave me a scarf.
   -Thank you- I cleaned the tears with his baby blue scarf- I juts... I hate lies...
   -Did Master hide something from you?- he asked.
   -Yes...
   -Just forget it. He's stupid.
   He said and hugged me. It felt good. His hug.
