Chapter Three - Forest Dean High

I woke up to a faint jingle sound on my phone, realizing today was my first day of school. I had a positive side and a negative side about Forest Dean High.

The negative side was that I didn't want to make an effort of making new friends.

And the positive was that I knew one person: Harry. The boy that made my stomach release little butterflies squirming about in my stomach. The boy that was mentally insane and the same boy that I questioned the sanity of. I never realized a boy could overwhelm me with anxiety, frustration, and a bit of excitement. But I needed to know if this kid was a misunderstood kid or worse: a monster.

I got out of my white comforters and leaped towards my new closet. I picked out a white short sleeved basic flowy shirt with a black long cardigan. And as for bottoms I wore my long black maxi skirt with a pair of black matte Dr. Martens. My hair was always pin straight so all I did was brush the knots out of my long light brown hair. Since this was the first day I decided to apply foundation, concealer and powder to my face; usually I just put two layers of mascara and Chapstick but I decided to put on the extras. (A/N I use Maybelline Falsies, lol!) Once I finished my face I curled my lashes and applies the jet black mascara to my dull lashes and topped off my lipstick with Chapstick.

I took one final glance in the mirror and headed downstairs to see what my father made for breakfast. My mom usually took off at 5 am to start her shift down at the hospital, and my dad usually worked home but he would lock himself in his office at 10 am.

I was able to smell the crisp oil smell an I knew my father cooked bacon. As I walked downstairs I saw him sitting on the table with a cup of coffee in one hand and newspaper in the other. He always use to do this when we were in our old house; I guess he carried in the routine.

"Morning honey, how did you sleep?" my father said, taking off his glasses and putting his attention towards me.

"I slept good. So what's the plan for today?" I asked, sitting next to him due to an extra plate next to him with the crisp bacon and the slightly toasted bread.

"Uhm... I'm going to my office at 10 because I have to plan out my session with Harry at 6 and will be out of the house for an hour. So when you come home I won't be here," he explained. I nodded and put my empty plate in the sink. "Oh I'll take you to school so you know where it is, and then tomorrow you can take the car cause I don't need it."

My dad wnet to the entrance closet and reaching for his peacoat.

"Have a lovely day at school" my father said parking the car in front of a tall burgundy brick building that had a sign with big gold lettering that said:

Forest Dean High

Home of the Warriors

Est. 1956

"Do I have to go?" I said facing my dad.

"Come on your almost finished with school, then college," he said pecking my forehead.

With that I left the car and walked towards the hurdled, emotional teenagers. I see girls practically sucking the faces off these short boys. And seeing teens with their cliques. I was so nervous due to the dateless and whispers I was hearing behind me. So to release my stress, I decided to pull out a cigarette and smoke my emotions away. I stood near a branch so I wasn't visible to my peers.

As I inhaled my own toxics, I saw a blonde hair pop in between my smoke and it looked as if it was a girl. She had dirty blonde hair, red lipstick, and bangs. I also saw two brunettes by her side.

"Hi, your new, right?" the blonde one said.

And now I was able to see her clear sea blue eyes.

"Yeah," I said, putting the cigarette in between my small frail lips.

"Well you should know there is no smoking here, retard." She smirked at the two hyenas behind her that were giggling at her comment.

"Listen Barbie, I don't give a fuck about what you're saying, dumb bitch," I said blowing the smoke in her face.

She gasped for air when it hit her. I felt slim fingers grab me by my tee. I knew it was blondie. She made me my drop my cigarette from her aggression.

"This is my school, you do whatever the fuck I say, got it?" she said, pulling my face near hers.

As I was about to spit something back at her I felt two large hands grab me by my small frame.

"Leave her alone Taylor," A raspy foreign voice spoke from behind me. I couldn't turn around to see who it was.

"Whatever, Harry," the girl, Taylor, said, crossing her arms in front of her almost non-existing chest. I turned to see piercing emerald eyes glaring at my now olive-hazel eyes. I heard a huff and footsteps walk away.

"Sorry about Taylor she's my... annoying girlfriend," he said grinning and letting go of me.

What the fuck?

How could a beautiful boy fall in love with that mop?

"Oh," was all I was able to say, because he called me gorgeous the other day. Meanwhile, he had a girlfriend apparently that was named "Taylor", but maybe he said that just to have a little fling.

"What class do you have now?" he said, fixing his toss led curls by putting his head down and running both of his large hand through his side hairs. i took out my binder to see that I had Ms. Bartholomew.

"Math," I answer, looking at him.

"Come on and let me show you around, Alaska," he said as he grabbed me to the side, the both of us heading in the double doors.
