Jack sat in class. He listened to the teacher's lecture and quietly began to count down as the clock's hands slowly ticked closer towards the end of class. The bell rang and he let out a brief sigh as he placed his books in to his bag. As soon as Jack stepped into the hallway he was ambushed by Ana. "Whoa!" He exclaimed as she shoved him from behind.
"Hey, Jack." She chuckled and extended her hand out to him.
"You startled me Ana." He mumbled; pushing his hair back and taking her hand.
"No need to be so stiff." She pouted as she helped him to his feet.
"Sorry," He sighed, "I'm just kinda stressed out right now."
"It's alright," She assured, "I get it. How about we-" Suddenly she was interrupted by the ping of a message. She glanced at her phone and looked confused. "Um, I have something to do." She said as she slipped her phone into her pocket.
"It's fine," Jack responded, "I'll see you later."
"Thanks." She sighed and walked away. As Ana left, Jack made his way to his next class.

Ana entered the cafe across the street from the school. She saw Gabriel sitting in a booth and took a seat in front of him. "Why did you call me?" She asked as she took his fries.
"I wanted to ask you about Jack."
