tell me,
where did the light go?
the one that once shone behind you,
a gift from god,
now only,
an inspection from god.
tell me,
where is the you i know?
did you suddenly evolve into someone i never met,
or,
perhaps i was too blind to see,
what was happening.tell me,
why god has his people on their knees?
begging and praying for the end of me,
desire for me to misjudge,
the world is all too condescending,
waiting for the pitiful epilogue.please,
tell me,
what does the world not see about the world?
why is the world masquerading,
the ever-present actuality reeks just beneath us,
yet we point and pray and look away,
because it just can't be us.let me tell you,
the world has no will to take us back,
nor does it care how you are,
the world has no reason to treat us kindly,
all it does is mirror us from afar,do not be upset when it echoes you for who you are.
