Going the Extra Milo

I'm standing at the bus stop when Milo is walking to the bus stop, where a new kid, Bradley and two other students wait for the bus.

As Milo walks in, Bradley and the two students stays away from him, much to the new kid's confusion.

"What's that all about?" The newbie asks.

Milo chuckles, "Oh, you're new here. I've got a bit of reputation."

The new kid shows surprise, and then smiles jokingly. "So what are you, a tough guy?"

Milo laughs, "Oh, I don't think anyone ever called me "tough". I'm Milo."

The newbie shakes Milo's hand, "I'm Zack."

I glance over to Chad, "No Zack! No, no, no, no, no..."

I raised an eyebrow at the preppy kid, getting him to shut up.

Ignoring their warns, Zack continues talking with Milo.

Zack chuckles with Milo, "So what exactly is this reputation?"

Milo smirks a little, "Well, people have used the "J-word" but you know what they say, "Sticks and stones can damage your vital oragans so always wear body armor."

Milo knocks on his chest, which emits a wood-like noise. This shows he is literal about that statement.

Hearing this, Zack shows some concern.

Melissa arrives at the bus stop in these moments.

Melissa waves to both Milo and I, "Hi, Milo, Hey Tia."

Milo smiles, "Hi, Melissa."

"Hey, Melissa!" I wave excitingly to my bestie.

Melissa looks around herself to see if there is anything dangerous.

Melissa smiles at Milo, "I'm just gonna stand back here." She takes a step back from Milo.

Milo chuckles, "Good call!"

I scoff, "Tsh, wimps."

So basically, everybody is avoiding Milo except for Zack and I.

Melissa starts chatting with Milo, "So Milo, how was your weekend?"

"Eventful!" Milo happily answers.

"Always, man." I joke.

Melissa nods, "Yeah, I bet."

Milo smiles, "I got a new scar, wanna see?"

Melissa seems excited, "Sure!"

"Ok." Milo pulls out his phone.

He takes a picture of his scar on his phone, and sends it to Melissa.

"Oh cool! That's a good one." Melissa exclaims.

Milo grinned, "I know, right?"

Zack begins to worry, "Alright, seriously, dude. What's going on here?"

Milo frowns, "What do you mean?"

Zack seems utterly confused, "I mean... what is all of... this? And what is the "J-word"?"

Milo quietly tells to Zack, "Well, I don't like to say it out loud..."

The two are interrupted when a sound can be heard and a bungee suddenly falls out from somewhere.
