Annie's POV:
My suitcase hits the floor on the main floor of the house.
"I'm ready." I grin to mom. We're going to L.A for three weeks, and I'm going to finally get to see my best friend Hayden again.
"Okay Ans, let me just grab some shoes and we'll be on our way!" She shouts from her room.
I grin at just the thought of going back to L.A. Don't get me wrong, I love Maryland, but in L.A, there's always something to do and someone to meet.
We head out the front door and into the Tesla, where dad and Hayley are taking us to the airport. When we get there, I hug Hayley tight.
"Good luck with your auditions!" I say, letting her go. She's handing in some auditions for some big roles, and if she gets one she'll finally have her spotlight.
I hug dad and he lifts me into his arms.
"Don't get into any trouble!" He chuckles as mom and I roll our suitcases away. We wave and finally enter the airport. Mom and I quickly purchase some snacks before we head to our gate. Once were through security, mom hands me the camera to vlog.
"Hey guys. Sooo, were on our way to L.A!" I say excitedly.
"We just got through security, moms FAVOURITE part." We laugh.
"I'll see you guys on the plane!" I say and shut off the camera. In just a few hours, I'll be in the happiest place ever!Hayden's POV:
"Annie is going to be here soon!" I say to my camera.
"We're just about to drive to the airport. We have so many projects coming up, you guys are gonna love it!" I say before I turn off the camera.
"Hayden!" Dad shouts from across our apartment.
"Time to go!" He says, motioning his arms for me to follow him.
"Okay okay!" I say defensively as I grab my phone. We head out the door and into the car.
The whole ride I'm shaking with excitement. It's been about a month since I've seen Annie in person, but we've talked everyday since.
Finally, we're at the airport. I rush inside the doors and struggle to find their gate.
We reach gate 17, and I can see them coming towards the glass doors. I grin and get ready to hug my best friend.
The doors slide open and Annie leaves her bag to come hug me. I take a couple steps towards her and wait for the impact of her running into me. Her mom quickly pulls out the camera to film.
"Hayden!" She shrieks, and I do the same. She jumps into my arms and wraps her hands around my neck. She rests her head in my shoulder and j take a step back from the impact.
"Annie, I missed you so much!" I chuckle. We all have a laugh, and Dad greets Katie.
I help Annie with her bags as we head back to the car. In minutes, were already catching up with eachother on what happened since the hours we talked.
"You should've seen this guy on the plane. As soon as he finally fell asleep, his mouth opened and he started drooling everywhere!" She says between her laughs. I grin at her adorable laugh.
We reach the apartment complex and I carry Annie's bags to their room. Luckily, it's only a few doors down from ours.
"You know, you could have let me carry at least one!" She chuckles.
"And risk you having to do work? Never!" I laugh.
"Woah. This place is nice." Annie says, her jaw dropped. It has two bedrooms, a huge bathroom, a full sized kitchen and living room. Even the balcony is huge.
"I know right! This whole building is amazing." I say, sitting down on the leather couch.
"I'm starving. Me and your dad are going to get chipotle. We'll be back later!" Annie's mom says as soon as her bags are in her room. We wave them off .
"Are you excited for everything?" Annie says as she puts her clothes into her dresser drawers.
I nod.
"But I really can't wait for our concert. It'll be like we're 12 all over again!" I laugh, reminiscing our concert back in 2017. We were only kids, and it was Annie's first time singing in public.
"But 100 times better." Annie points out. We're singing Unsteady by X Ambassadors. It was made over 3 years ago, but it's a great song and it really shows off our vocals.
Soon enough, Annie's done unpacking and our parents still aren't back.
"What should we do?" She asks.
I shrug before an idea pops in my head.
"We could go live on Instagram?" I suggest, and she nods in agreement. I pull out my phone and start a live video. Instantly, thousands of people join and comments start flooding in.
"Hey guys!" Annie and I say at the exact same time. We look at each other and laugh. From the corner of my eye I can see the comments instantly turn to Hannie.
"HANNIE IS REUNITED!"
"OMG DATE ALREADY!!!!"
"#HANNIE"
I blush slightly at the sight of the comments. Embarrassingly enough, the fans catch on.
"AWWW, HES BLUSHING!!"
"I KNEW HE LIKED HER"
I sigh and just continue to talk with Annie.
"Ask us questions!" Annie says excitedly. We know most of them will be about hannie, but whatever.
"Why are you in L.A.." Annie reads out loud.
"Well, I'm hear for a whole bunch of reasons. The only one I can tell you is that I'm singing another cover with Hayden!" She says, wrapping her arms around me while she looks at the screen. Even more Hannie comments flood in, but we ignore them.
"Where's Hayley?" She says, reading another.
"She's actually tied up with auditions, so she can't come. When she's not busy she'll come down to L.A to visit." She replies.
We answer a couple more questions before our parents are home with the food.
"Thank god, I'm so hungry I could eat this whole building!" Annie says and we all share a laugh. We say goodbye to the people left on our live video and shut off my phone.
"You know, I think this will be our best trip yet."I'm soooo sorry this chapter was so boring. I'm just starting things off, I promise it'll get better :)
