^ listen to when they're singing, it's a good song :)
Annie's POV:
Hayden and I didn't get the chance to talk last night. After pizza, our parents wanted to watch a movie and then went to bed right after, and insisted we resup too.
Mom wakes me up at 10 this morning, to let me get some rest for today. I'm so excited!
I'm greeted by Hayley and Dad when I wake up, who flew in early this morning. Hayley ran into my arms so quick, I would have never been able to tell she's had barely any rest.
I slip into some comfy clothes to wear today before I change into my dress tonight. I brush my teeth and hair, with no makeup on. It's all getting redone later today, so there's really no point. I'll let my face 'breathe'.
Hayley is wearing a shirt white strapping dress that's sheer at her stomach. Moms letting her wear some makeup, but she's putting it on later tonight.
"You look gorgeous hay." I compliment her, hugging her.
"Should I straighten my hair?" She questions, looking in the mirror.
"I love your curls. Besides, you and Hayden can twin." I joke, and she giggles.
Mom and dad are dressed nice too. Dads wearing his first dress shirt in a long time, and mom is wearing a fitting white and black dress.
"Gotta match both kids." She jokes.
We're done and out the door by almost 1 o clock. We're meeting Hayden at the building, unless he's already there.
When were there I search everywhere for Hayden since I finally have alone time, but he's still not here. I grunt and kick a chair slightly.
I drag myself to my makeup room to go wait on my phone for another hour before I get all dolled up. But when j get inside, I notice a familiar head of ombre curls. She turns around, and I shriek.
"Paige!" I shout, before running to hug her.
"I thought you were visiting Curtis?" I ask her, looking up at her currently no-makeup face.
"You really think I would miss your concert? Annie, you're basically my little sister. I would never." She says, hugging me again.
"Curtis is at our hotel right now, but you can visit him later." She says, finally letting me go.
"Yay!" I clap. Curtis is the perfect guy for Paige. She's been spending time with him for about a month, so I haven't seen her in a while.
We catch up for a while until my manager comes in to remind us to start getting me ready.
Paige does some natural makeup that just accentuates my face as it is. To finish it off, she darkens my eyes with some dark brown eyeshadow in the crease and some glimmering highlight.
When were done, Hayley comes into the room and reacts how I did when I saw Paige. Even the exact same questions! We're too alike.
"Can you do some makeup on me?" Hayley asks.
"Sure thing Hun." She says, pulling out some makeup that's more Hayley's shade.
"Hey H$, have you seen Hayden?" I ask her.
"Uh no, not yet. Everyone's looking for him and Jimmy. As long as they get her so. The next half hour, they'll be okay."
I lost Hayley's words at and. He's still not here?
I huff and walk out of the room and onto the stage. They're just finishing up setting the lights perfectly.
My manager comes up to me to tell me how everything's going to go.
"First, Hayden's going to sing one of his songs. Then, he'll pull you out and you guys will sing yours. When you're done, come right off stage because Danielle Cohn is on right after." She says, using lots of hand motions.
Suddenly, I hear the front doors open.
"Finally!" I hear a few voices say, and I instantly know it's Hayden. But when I get to the hallway, he's already been pulled into a dressing room to get ready. I talk to Jimmy instead.
"We totally slept through our alarms, and the L.A traffic made it worse. You look great, Ans." Jimmy says, and he walks right over to the stage to talk with my dad.
Hayley comes out in her makeup and looks so pretty. She looks flawless with our without makeup, but I can tells she's confident when she wears it.
"Looking gorgeous Hayley." I say, and she chuckles.
It's 5:00, and the concert starts in 5 minutes. People have been flooding in for the last half hour, so I've been stuck in my dressing room. I get changed into my black dress and heels and go to long, secret way to get to the stage without being noticed.
I see Hayden across the stage, on the other side that I can't get to from here without running across. I need to talk to him. About everything.
Brooke Butler walks on to the stage, so I know is staring. I take a deep breath.
"Hey everybody! Welcome to the rock your hair concert!"
When she finishes, everyone screams.
"We're gonna start off the night with Hayden Summerall, singing 'Classic'! (Idk what to call it?!?!)
The fans go wild as he walks out.
All I can hear is my heartbeat pumping through my body whole Hayden is singing. I never realized how nervous I am. It's been almost 3 years since I've had a concert. Never in front of this many people, though. The whole room is filled, and other people have to stand because of the shortage of seats.
Hayden's song is over way too soon. He comes to the corner of the stage and grabs my hand, but I don't move.
"You've got this Annie. Trust me." He reassures me. I take a deep breath and grab my microphone. I hold Hayden's hand as he pulls me out, and the room is filled with cheers and screams.
The song starts immediately.
"Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady
Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady"
My turn.
Momma
Come here
Approach
Appear
Daddy
I'm alone
'Cause this house don't feel like home
Hayden points at me, and he looks into my eyes. It doesn't feel staged this time.
If you love me
Don't let go
If you love me
Don't let go
It feels real. Like he actually cares.
Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady
Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady

Mother
I know
That you're tired of being alone
Dad I know you're trying
To fight when you feel like flying

But if you love me
Don't let go
If you love me
Don't let go

Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady
Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady
Hold
Hold on
Hold on to me
'Cause I'm a little unsteady
A little unsteady

We finish the song and the crowd goes wild. I'm out of breath, but in smiling. Hayden and I walk to the centre of the stage to wave and walk off. He puts his arm around me and I look at him.
And he pulls me in,
And kisses me.
