Hayden's POV:
I'm awoken at 10:00 to sunlight shining through the curtains in my eyes. I groan and rub my eyes, quietly standing up. Everyone else is still asleep, so I quietly exit the room and head to my apartment with dad. He's awake, brewing coffee and watching some T.V.
"You're awake. Is anyone else?" He asks me, and I shake my head.
"How was the movie?" I ask as I pour myself some coffee.
"Oh, it was great. Hayley laughed every minute or so, but it made it better." He chuckled. I nod as I sip some coffee groggily. Once I'm fully awake, I decide to pass some time at the buildings gym.
I lift weights for what feels like days, but in reality I only worked out for an hour.
When I get back to my room, I'm sweating like crazy. I drag myself into the shower and quickly wash myself in the cold stream. Once I'm out of the shower and ready for the day, dads not in the apartment anymore. I walk outside and find Ms. Katie and Billy about to leave.
"Where are you guys going?" I ask.
"We're late to a meeting. See you later!" Ms. Katie says, rushing herself and her husband down the stairs. I knock softly on the door to the Leblanc's room. I'm greeted by a perky and energetic Hayley.
"Hi Hayden." She says, a grin spread across her face as usual. I lift her up and she laughs. She's almost 13, but she still has the heart of a kid.
I put her down. "Where's Annie?" I ask her quietly, in case anyone else is still asleep.
"She's in her room." She says, pointing to the closed door. Hayley runs off to hang out with Paige.
I knock softly on the door to Annie's room. There's no answer, so I assume she's asleep. I quietly open the door and find Annie wrapped in her covers. I smile. She's so cute.
I lay down on the bed next to her and rub her shoulders.
"Ans. It's almost noon." I say as she groans. She flips over and looks at my face. She smiles.
"What a nice way to wake up." She says, smiling and stretching her arms. I plant a soft kiss on her forehead. She stands up and puts on a hoodie.
She grabs her phone and walks into the kitchen, and I follow her.
"I'll make you something. What do you want?" I ask her, hugging her from behind.
"Pancakes would be nice.." She says, smiling. She sits down at the bar stools while I grab pancake mix and start cooking.
"What the..." She trails off, looking done at her phone.
"What's wrong?" I ask her. She shows me her phone. It's a picture of her and I last night on the balcony, kissing.
"The caption says that apparently we started making out, even though I didn't want to... What the hell?" She says, angrily typing a comment.
"How in the world did they get a picture?" I say, flipping a pancake.
"Some fans must have been in the parking lot and zoomed in. That's weird." She says, shutting off her phone and setting it on the counter.
"I guess our parents warned us, but I didn't think it would be this quick." I admit. She nods in agreement as I serve her a plate of pancakes.
"Thank you." She says, kissing my cheek.
Paige and Hayley come out, obviously smelling the food.
"Pancakes?" The both say, popping their heads out the door.
"I knew you guys would want some. Here." I say, handing them some empty plates to fill. They both eat up.
"What do you want to do today?" I ask Annie.
"Paige and I are going to the beach today with Jayden and Brooke. You should come!" Hayley suggests. Annie nods and I agree.
"We're leaving in a couple minutes, so get ready." Paige says, eating her last bite of pancakes.
"I'm going to get a bag, I'll be right back." I say to Annie, heading to my room. I change into a swimsuit and put on a t shirt. Once I'm done, I throw my phone and a towel into a bag and walk back over to the Leblanc's room.Annie's POV:
While Hayden's getting ready, I change into a black bikini. I cover it with a float light pink romper and finish off with some flip flops and pink sunglasses. I leave my hair as it is and decide not to wear any makeup.
When Hayden comes back, he does a double take.
"You look gorgeous, as always." He says, a grin on his face. He wraps an arm around me and we wait for Hayley and Paige.
Soon enough, they come out in their swimsuits and some summer dresses. I grab a bag filled with some towels and water, and we walk into the car that Brooke is driving.
"Hey guys. Didn't know Annie and Hayden were coming, but I'm glad you are." She says as Annie and I buckle into the very back seats with Jayden. Jayden instantly looks away and out of the window.
"Beach, here we come!" Paige shouts as Brooke drives away. They blast some music as we head down the road.
"Something wrong J?" I ask her. She just mumbles and continues staring out the window.
I shrug my shoulders at Hayden and we decide to let her have some space.
The rest of the car ride is filled with the voices of Hayley, Paige, and Brooke singing the lyrics of music at the top of their lungs. When we get there, as all hop out with our stuff and head to the beach. I lay out my towel, and Hayden, Paige, and Jayden do the same. Brooke and Hayley head straight to the water to swim.
Hayden slides on some sunglasses and grabs my hand as we bathe in the sun. I look over at Jayden, but she's glaring at me.
"Seriously Jayden, what's wrong?" I say, sitting up. I'm fed up with her attitude.
"It's nothing." She says, turning on her side. I roll my eyes and lay down again.
"Annie... I think she's jealous of us." Hayden whispers in my ear.
Jayden likes Hayden!
